hi again to all of you!

my fiance is having approximately $45,000.00 income annually...he lives with his mother in 1 apartment....his sister n law and her daughter as well as his older brother also lives in the same house... how will he consider the number of household members? his older brother is working in the post office..his sister n law is a nurse and my fiance is working as well...my question is....how many household member will he declare in his aos? we are planning to find our own place as soon as my visa is approved....is his income enough or will he need a co sponsor?

Its difficult to say without more details but typically when they refer to your household they mean your family, as in you and he and your kids and any other dependents. If its just you and him then your household size would be 2. This really doesn't have much to do with the number of people living in the house, its a financial thing. You will need to look at the federal poverty guidelines to determine if he has sufficient income. See here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1327.html for the 2008 poverty guidelines. Depending on your situation he will need to make at least 125% of the poverty level for your area (the list is split into three areas, the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii). The guide is based on the number of family members, just find the right number and look at what it says in the 125% column. If it is just you two then it looks like he would have sufficient income according to that guide.
