Hi to all!

Got a question about carrying documents at USEM.

We have many many files of docs more than we can carry in our hands. Will the USEM allow you to carry a file box or rolling file (stroller/caddy) the sized of an airlines carry on bag?

Thanks!

WOW, that is really too much. When I had my interview someone brought a stroller but it's not too big. He was able to get inside USEM's vicinity. You really don't have to bring too much of evidences. Enough of this and that is fine. Consuls don't really ask a lot except if they will be suspicious of the relationship then someone should be ready to dump them with evidences. During my interview, the consul did not ask me any proof of relationship and I was carrying a bag full of it, but I was more glad ;)

I carried:

-more than 200 page of papers of e-mail print outs that we exchange from the time of our relationship began.

-36 printed photos of me and my husband during the wedding day

-a folder containing Power of Attorney, my BC, our marriage contract and a copy of bank receipt.

Those fitted in my Snoopy plastic bag bought at Watson's.

I think you should not carry that much, maybe just little bit of everything.

God bless! :star::star::star:

Thanks Riza for the quick response! It is only a one caddy bag like..... a stroller bag of a GRADE 1 pupil :lol: with all our docs needed. Each has tabs on it! not really much! I only printed a total of 11 pages of our chats since 2006 and few email letters. lots of pictures together and with some friends and family. We may have lots of evidence since my fiance is living here in Cebu for a year now. But glad to know that USEM will allow it hehehe!

God BLess! and have a safe trip soon!

THERE'S NOTHING REALLY WRONG IF YOU BRING ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS. IT'S BETTER THAT WAY THAN TO HAVE REGRETS AT THE END OF THE DAY, BECAUSE ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN INSIDE. SOME PRE-INTERVIEWERS PREFER A BUNCH OF PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP AND DIDN'T EVEN ASK MUCH ABOUT MY FINANCIAL EVIDENCES. AND BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE SIGNED ALL NECESSARY FORMS. GOOD LUCK :thumbs:
