He was telling me that the instructions said not to send any of their pages back to them. So we were under the impression that he only sends the DS forms to them. was that right?

I was looking through some online text files from packet 3 (a lovely VJ'er provided me with them!) & there was a page to sign. it asks for the date of his medical, marriage date, etc...was he was supposed to send this back? :s

he just sent the packet yesterday...so should he send another packet with that page & explain his oopsie? HALP!

thanks to all who reply. ;p

P3 does state you need to send back the checklist pages along with the DS forms.

Just send off the checklist. They will not give you an interview date without it. You don't need to write a letter of explanation, allot of people do like to hold off getting an interview date. So they will send in the checklist later.

Goodluck!

He sends back the checklist from those IV15 pages when he's gathered the documents. It's the first four pages (don't count the cover page) with little check boxes to tick off. The last page has the fill out part. If you have a marriage date set, then put it in and they try to give you an interview date to meet that schedule. That form must be received to get an interview scheduled. It's his way of saying, "Hey London, I've gathered everything you asked for and I'm ready to come to an interview." So if he's still gathering police certificates, birth certificate, etc. then he doesn't have to send it back until he has everything. That's why the letter says to send in the DS forms asap and tell us when you have the other documents in hand needed for the interview by sending back the checklist. We had everything in advance of receiving P3, so we mailed DS forms and checklist together.

So I gather that means as long as your police certificate etc etc; is all dated around the time of packet 3 all should be fine? , I was worried about my Fiance sending me his letter from his employer with a date a month or so before the interview.
