My wife had her interview in Tokyo, Japan on July 28 and was approved. Today, 2 days later, the envelope arrived with her passport and the visa stamped inside along with instructions and another envelope to be presented at POE. :thumbs: It was a very stressful time, I am glad I listened to some smart guys here on the forums, who helped me make up my mind and switch from the K-3, which still and for good reasons ) has gone nowhere, to the CR-1. Fifteen long months, but now we are out of here. Flight to GUM booked for next tuesday, looking forward to enjoy the freedom again with my wife next to me. One last time, thanks to all of you who read my posts, thanks even more to all of you who replied. I wish you all lots of luck and speedy conclusion of your journey. Take care.

Oct. 22, 2007 - NOA2 Hard Copy received!! No email/website update.

Nov. 16, 2007 - Paperwork found & received by NVC!

Jan. 7, 2008 - Finally got the interview date

Jan. 28, 2008 - Interview!! Approved!!!

Feb. 12, 2008 - Arrives in USA!!!

Feb. 18, 2008 - Wedding Day!!!!!!

Feb. 19, 2008 - Apply for SSN

AOS Timeline:

Mar. 12, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

Mar. 12, 2008 - Husband's SSN arrives

Mar. 14, 2008 - AOS pkt was delivered at 7:52 AM & signed for by V BUSTAMANTE.
