Good day to all member of VJ,I just wanted to know how can I know what shall I do exactly regarding to the POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE,I am working in HongKong for a couple of years before then I found out that I need to have that police clearance from HK.My question is do I need to wait for the request from the USCIS or I do it myself without thier request.I can easily secured that HK immigration requirements but I am afraid that they wont grant my request..Hope i can have my answers here..thanks and goodluck to all VJ members

2008-09-08..........NVC left

2008-09-13..........packet 3 recieved

2008-09-15..........received hard copy

2008-09-15..........call call center for interview appointment

2008-09-30..........mecdical day 1 passed

2008-10-06...........medical day 2 passed

2008-10-09...........interview passed pink and white slip receive wait for my HK police clearance

2008-10-20...........HK police office sent email to me and inforn clearance is on the way..ahmmm so happy this

time that they work my police office never ignore my request..

2009-01-05...........Visa Received :

2009-01-13.........US Entry :

2009-02-03...........Marriage :

2009-02-10........... apply SSN

2009-03-14........... apply AOS

2009-03-23...........NOA1 recieve

2009-04-14...........biometrics appointment ( Finished )

2009-05-04............recieve interview date

2009-05-14............ Received EAD

2009-06-08............ AOS Approved also Advaced Parole Stamp on Visa YIPPPEE!!!!!!!

2009-06-29............. AOS permanant resident card received

try to get a police clearance ahead of time its fine. but i dont know how to deal the with HK immigration. if they wont give it to yo u. just wait for the letter from NVC. show them and tell them its required the police clerance to file a petition from US. but as i recalled. i never seen from the NVC letter about asking the police clearance. please guyz correct me if im wrong. goodluck

DS230 received July 3, 2008

NVC Case Completed July 14, 2008

NVC send the Case Complete to USEM Manila: Aug. 5th 2008

USEM recieved complete case from NVC Aug 8th 2008

paid debros aug 22,2008

Medical Sept 9,10 He passed Thank you God. God is always good.

Interview Date: Sept 29, 2008 at USEM Manila 8:30AM APPROVED!!!

Visa In hand: Oct 2, 2008 yahoo

POE Nov 17, 2008.

Green Card and S.S received Nov 28th, 2008

You might try to contact the Philippine embassy in HK if you cant get it yourself. My wife heard they would do that for you...for a fee of course.

That was fast!

Got to love the fact my wife was preggy and even with a RFE @ NVC she was still here in under 5 months!
