DS 230 Spelling Error Problem

HI

After I mailed my DS 230 RFE to NVC, I notice in the photocopy that I did a typo on Q15 middle name. What should I do now, as of today NVC is about to issue a case complete any day now, and issue an Interview date by next week.

Please let me know what are my options and If I send an email to them, what should I write in the email.

waaaaaaaaa why u always have typo's? please check 10x before sending ur documents. bec ur case will be delayed.They send u the ds230 for the RFE bec of the typo right? please becareful and try to review all the documents before u send it to them to avoid the RFE again.. goodluck

I think they will send it to u back again for mispelled. this will cause RFE again. . they can not change what u put in the DS230 form... not unless u write it down the correct middle name correct in the ds230 form and they can change it to the system. if they put it wrong in the system.

yeah I know, and I called NVC about the case status and they said my will be completed in couple of days, so looks like they did not catch the spelling error or they did not check the entire new ds 230 form and they only checked the missing Qs and updated their system with those Qs only.

is that ur wife middle name mispelled? bec it will have a problem in the future if u didnt corrected it. Like applying for Social Security or for issuing her a greencard. goodluck its better to correct it now before everything settle.

I thought so, As I called NVC everyday to ask the case status and today, they told me that everything is alright, which was a big relief and they are now waiting for the Sept Appts slots to be opened at Mumbai consulate, which should happen next week and case complete should be by end of this week.
