Hi again! I'm trying to gather up all the paperwork to send to my fiance for the interview, we just received the NOA-2 last week. I've read that its necessary to get a letter from the bank where you have deposits which states when the account was open, the current balance, and the total of deposits for the past year. Alas, BofA is giving me the run-around, saying that they don't do letters on company letterhead, the best they could do was give me a printout of the computer screen (it does show when the account was open and current balance, but in such a strange format that I'm afraid only an employee of the bank could interpret it), and print out my recent bank statements (which I could easily do myself online). Will this be good enough? Has anyone else had this issue with their bank?

Also... I'm a little worried, because my financial history is spotty. I'm making good money right now at a temp-to-hire job, but unfortunately the keyword is TEMP and I won't be hired until I complete a training program in a few months. I'm through a temp agency right now, would a letter from the agency be enough to prove my employment? And I didn't work at all in 2007 (I was living overseas going to school) so I didn't file taxes.

Luckily my mom is co-sponsoring and all her documents are in order (taxes, employment, etc, and pending she can also talk BofA into giving her a coherent statement!) I guess as long as the co-sponsor is meeting and exceeding the requirements, it won't hold us up if my own finances are insufficient?

Thanks!
