Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any idea what the average wait time between receiving NOA1 (from Vermont USCIS) until the interview in Moscow for K1 could be (without taking rfe's into consideration)??? I really would like to have an idea of how long (roughly-speaking) this could be...

Thanks!

As of:

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!

At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!

Time from NOA1 to NOA2 will depend on service center. You appear to be going through VSC, which is experiencing approvals right around 3-4 months. From there it's another couple weeks to get to the consulate (via NVC). People seem to be getting interview dates around 3 months out from the time your petition is received by the consulate. So total time if you're going through VSC will be anywhere from 6-8 months.

Six months, give or take six months.

Seriously, as mox said, it's been right around six to eight through VT. You can't "count on" that being exact, but that's a pretty good ballpark figure.

Thanks guys. Yeah, apparently with this process one can't really count on much of anything.
