So this whole system is getting tiresome for me and Kate, She quit her job thinking cant be any worse than 200 days...... Boy was she wrong

So I've been waiting (like other December/November Filers) over 220 days

228 days since they received my application. I've filed FIVE expedite requests, 2 with congressmans office, 1 with senators, 2 over the phone. I've submitted evidence within hours of request. And I still have not a single touch on our application. I am now starting to think that they've lost my application. And if I have to refile, heads are going to roll. Has there been any cases where USICS lost your application, after they've received it?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I feel the same way about our application. We haven't had any sign of anything happening with it since it went onto the online system.

My husband (USC) can't get any answers out of VSC other than the usual - you are inside our processing dates.

I really don't know what to do now - feel completely despairing of the whole system. I hate not being able to make a plan for the rest of the year. My family and friends keep asking me when I will be moving. Noone can believe it takes this long to be with your husband.

Can you key mine in for an approval while youre at it? Ill take the k3 or cr-1.. just choose a petition and push it through :)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I would not recommend making this kind of statements on this site, as it is obviously being watched, especially considering the beneficiary's country of origin.

I wrote to VP and all I got was a letter saying they checked my case, it was still pending and when the agency did something they would let me know. They expressed sympathy for my situation and understood my need.

BUT. then we did all get transferred. Maybe all our letters and complaining finally did something..????

They did not actually tell us it was lost. All i know if they call my husband after he wrote to Chuck Schumer. They apologise for the delay( that did little to help cuz we waited one whole year!)
