No NOA1 again

USCIS has lost our first package, and we sent another one 3 weeks ago. The return recipt was signed by P Novac, so we know they got it. But again, we have not received

NOA1 yet. of course, they have not cashed our check either. What's going on with VSC? Could they possibly just throw out our packages twice????? Does it mean we have to hire a lawyer and file it for the third time???

I wouldn't worry. VSC has been issuing the NOA1 up to a month after the package is sent lately. I don't know why, but just hang in there for another week or two and you should get it.

It's hard to say what USCIS does, but NA1 should be issued within week of their receiving your package. Maybe they're trying to locate your first package before issue you NA1. This is just my view. Are you certainly sure your first package was lost?

Dont worry you will get your NOA1 soon . We filed on June 30 and we got NOA1 July 26.And some July filers didnt get any news also but they waited and they got it now. I am sure it is not lost, just have more patience ok. Wait one week more and hopefuly you will get NOA1. Have faith.

Dont worry. if you go under the topic July 08 filers in the reports subforum, you will see that all of us are in that situation right now.

Philabride u're not alone, here we are still waiting for our NOA1 from vermont, since june 28.

Thank you very much everyone. As everyone on this forum looks like they have received their NOA1 within two weeks, I was worried. Our first package was sent in March. After waiting for 3 months, my fiance called USCIS. They said they don't have any record of our case. I asked an immigration lawyer if we need an attorney in that case, then she adviced us to send another package. Our second package was received by USCIS on July 9th. I guess I should be patient for another few weeks.

I feel better after knowing that there are people like you who understand how I feel. Hopefully we will all get what we want in August.

Dont worry about your NOA1, like was said VSC haven't been sending out many.

Personally in a week or 2 I would call back (unless you already have of course) to see if your in the system, if you are they will give you your Reference Number over the phone, trust me it saves a lot of heartache, it took 2 months for our NOA1 to find us!.

Hi philabride. Our first package got lost by the USCIS as well. We sent it off on June 11 and got a signature confirmation that it arrived. So I can partly relate to how you feel. I hope your second package isn't lost. I know that they are going really REALLY slow right now so I think we just all need to wait. We just sent out a second package today. I hope it arrives safely!
