lol you guys....sofyans actually the one who taught me how to clean a chicken from the inside out...He cooks 65% of the time cuz I work late..he's gotten quite good at it...I can remember the first time I went to jordan...I was trying to show off and I couldnt even peel a potato with a knife (well DUH in america we have potato peelers) LOL I WAS SOOOO EMBARASSED WHEN HALF THE POTATO WAS GONE WHEN I FINISHED!!

The second time there I decided to be slick and make BBQ chicken...as I started slapping sauce on the pieces, everyone yelled..I didnt know the chicken had to be cleaned first...lol...

 That's too funny. In Argentina, when my mother in law buys a chicken, it comes fresh from the farm. She has to clean the whole thing, taking out the innerds and everything - maybe a few feathers, too. But, she likes to do it this way because at least she knows where the chicken came from and how it's being processed. I just looked at the chicken and said, I like when I can pick it up at the market and it's already fileted and ready for my use.

Olivia-- me too. I was on my way to Tuesday Torah, which I forgot to tell Ammar I was going to... and then I see smoke coming out of my car and I thought, oh no, oh #######. I drove one more mile trying to hurry it along to get to the walmart automotive place (closest to where I was), parked, and just asked if someone nice could look at it. They said they couldn't, then 2 nice mechanics took me aside and said they would take a look." Said the inside of my car was covered in coolant and no caps were gone... so maybe I ruptured a hose? We've left it there, I called like 20 people, none of whom could get me, found out my Rabbi resigned in the meantime, then started to walk to Ammar's work to hope to catch him or get security to get him. Found someone to get him to call me from inside, and he said to stay where I was.. but i was just like 1/2 mile from him so I said no, I'll jsut walk. It's like 95 degrees and muggy as heck, I'm walking there and had to cross a highway, sweaty. car is broken, and tonight I have to go to work :( I took his car but now I feel terrible because he's going to have to walk home at like 2am in the total dark, 5 miles. Hopefully, we can limp the car to a repair place tomorrow. It started to overheat, but, i shut ti down just before it hit red. I am hoping that I didn't break anything.

Oh, and then a miracle, as my phone died the second after I finally got ahold of Ammar. So good timing!

I won't eat meat in Jordan...too fresh for my liking. But I eat the ####### here that's breaded and contains beaks and feet. It's all about the spices. LOL :dead:
