Just be a man.

?

Sad state of affairs..allowing a child to run your life.

Everything a man and women commit to during a marriage is not going to be satisfied by your daughter.

Here's a shocker...when she gets married..she will be involved with her own family and more than likely consumed with her own issues, rather than your's.

In other words, you won't be the center of her attention, but (hopefully) you will continue and always be your wife's main attraction.

Live life for yourself and not for others...They will get over it and if they don't...

It really depends on the age of his daughter. If she's not an adult herself, she's probably having a difficult time understanding it all.

Hello Martinbr..

I will say that you stand by your wife.. Like others has said... Your daughter will come around one day and realize her mistake in listening to her Mother.. or what ever caused her to turn away. You have a wife that is counting on you.. It's hard to decide which way to go.. But your daughter is a child and has a long life ahead of her.. while you and your wife may never get another chance to find such a wonderful person to Love. Not saying you should abandon your daughter.. But stay with you commitment to your wife.. And ask God to work on your daughters heart.

I feel kinda bad because my 7 year old son has fallen in Love with Zandy.. He has always called her Zandy on the phone or while chatting all through our relationship the past 17 months.. but the night before she was to get on the plane to come to the US.. Zach called her Mommy out of the blue without my asking or intervening.. Zach and I had talked about it many months ago.. but I left it up to him on what he choosed to call Zandy. The first weekend she was here he was calling her Mommy.. I wanted to let his mother know before I took him back to her that Zach had called her Mommy on his own and I never pushed him to do this.. But I received a email back from my Ex.. and she was quite all right.. and that Zach had asked her 3 or 4 days before Zandy's arrival if it was ok with her if he could call Zandy Mommy also.. God must be in control.. I can't believe she gave him permission to call Zandy what ever he felt like calling her.

I feel for you Martinbr.. I can't imagine the worry this has caused. I just say stay with you wife.. bring her here.. and pray for your daughter that God will show her that she is only hurting her self by rejecting you.

I will pray for you..

Take care

Hello Martin,

I left my first wife when my daughters were 15 and 16 years old. I could have left earlier but I felt I should at least let them go through high school. My daughters undertood why I left their Mom. I tried saving the marriage but she was and still hooked to drugs. I was emotionally and financially drained. When I told them I met someone from the Philippines they told me that they just want me to be happy because they will have their own families in the future and didn't want me to be alone. In fact, my oldest saw Myla on the cam and told me she trusted her compared to the others I was talking to.

My second marriage was a complete disaster. She was pregnant with our second son and I thought it was the right thing to do to marry her. My siblings were against it because they saw through her. It lasted less than 5 years and I am grateful for that otherwise I would be paying her alimony plus the child support monthly. It was a bitter divorce. She wanted everything. Unfortunately , the court gave her full custody of my two sons because my work involves a lot of travelling. Believe it or not I only see my sons two weekends in a month and 5 weeks straight during the summer. She still uses my sons to hurt me but I am not letting her get into my nerves.

When my relationship with Mylas got serious where we were already talking about meeting, I slowly introduced her to my sons ( 6 and 7 ) through chatting. They exchanged audible icons and sometimes I had to fight for time in the computer and I was patient. They were smitten. Finally , when Myla arrived here, they just adore her. She knows how to care care of them and actually spoils them.

My second ex has tried causing issues between Myla and I but Myla handled it well. Idon't want to talk to my ex. As much as possible Myla handles the communication when it is about the kids. I just can't stand listening to her. She burned me good with her lies but Im glad my boys knows the situation very well. They are very good kids.

Fortunately for me, my children and Myla get along so well and they love her. Your daughter is very important but in the end she will mature and have a family of your own. In the end, it will be your wife who will be by your side so don't let go. This is your chance of happiness. I know I finally found true happiness in Myla. I feel so blessed and complete with her.

Hang in there and listen to your heart. Your happiness matters also and not just your daughters.

Goodluck,

Joe
