Small details of Sweetie's St Lukes and Interview experience

Just a couple of small notes that I have gathered from Sweetie POST medical and interview.

When Sweetie went to SLMCEC the guard asked her for her paper and she presented the email letter to him he asked her for something else. Eventually he let her in with only the email confirmation letter.

Like many others Sweetie got her MMR shot and advised against pregnancy for one month and she was given a Birth Control Shot good for 28 days. Sweetie is still virgin and it seems her cycle is a little out of whack as she is a little late because of the BC shot and has never taken BC before.

Then day of the interview she arrived at 8am as it is a long way to travel from her mountain near San Mateo, Rizal. Walk from mountain to Modesta, jeepney to Cubao to catch MRT to near USEM then from there a cab.

During interview Sweetie tells me a young man interviewed her and read 4 questions i Tagalog and approved her and gave the white and pink slips.

Here is what I find odd about Sweeties experience.

1. The guard asking Sweetie for something she did not have and accepted what she did have.

2. Recieving a Birth Control shot.

3. Being asked interview questions read from a paper in Tagalog.

I do not recall hearing of these things and I am sure not all experiences will be the same.

Just thought I would share

Thanks

This really surprises me. Ask your sweetie about the conversation during the vaccination interview and about this birth control shot. What did the doctor tell her? When i had my vaccination interview, the doctor told me i need to get MMR as I wasnt able to show my mark to her, then of course she advised me not to get pregnant within the month. I asked her if I can be on some birth control method ( pills or anything I need to take). I noticed she had second thoughts of whether answering me with a yes or no. She just told me to go and see my own OB Gyne and ask prescription from her, one that will really fit for me. So, I really don't know that SLEC is giving birth control shot. That shot might be to normalize her cycle.

Is your fiance sure that what was given to her was a BC shot? For one, the injectable BC looks like a milk. It's a thick white solution. And before a BC shot is given to a patient, it will be discussed thoroughly and it will only be given to someone who consents to it. Giving BC shots has a lot of issues, one of which is the patient's personal belief or religious pratices. Some devout Catholics don't consent to artificial BC.

My guess is, TdaP was the one given to your fiancee. It's a clear thick solution. It is painful and some who got this vaccine may develop fever.

She did sign a consent form and was told it was good for 28 days. Sweetie is checking her papers and stuff to find name of the injection. She did develop a fever and was sick for several days after her exam. She was given LagaFlex a muscle relaxant and ACES PLUS a vitamin. I suspected then it may have only been stress and not eating right. Ever since she moved back home to her mothers she has lost alot of weight.

Thx

This is the firs time that I've heard of a BC good for only a month. Injectable BCs last for 3 months.

The tetanus component of TdaP is the one that gave yor sweetie fever and muscle pain.

this is the first time I heard of anybody receiving BC @ SLEC  .. was that recently added? or are they even allowed to give those shots without the applicant consulting a registered OB first?
