You could always go to your own doctor and get him/her to give you the shot so you can it sooner then 18th or even a local health department and then take it with you your record on the 18th

Bring all your vaccination records so that the doctors can know what do you need and dont need. Bring money too. Medical fees are P9815 for adults and P8527 for kids under 15. Bring pesos, the clinic doesnt except dollars. And be early, I came 6am and I was already number 111, imagine that :bonk: . The guard said as early as 430am they started giving away numbers to applicants. Good Luck and God Bless. And by the way Im a bro B)

USCIS Changes Vaccination Requirements To Adjust Status To Legal Permanent Resident

Thought this was the Removing Conditions on Residency section. But brings back memories of that I-693 that was the most troubling for us years ago. Was an out of pocket expense for me and trying to find a good doctor that would follow the form. In analyzing the meaning of that form, one of my hobbies, even with all those vaccines and required tests, a person could still come here with every major disease known to mankind as long as they agreed to counseling. Seemed kind of crazy at the time. Most of the USCIS doctors I approached wanted to do a lot more testing than what the I-693 called for.

Both my wife and I are health conscious, ha, I have three medical doctors in my family. Wife and daughter both had lifetime TB vaccinations that doctors here never even heard of that resulted in inaccurate TB skin tests, and found most of the medical personnel we dealt with could not even properly read the results. Our clinic finally dropped that skin test in favor of a much more reliable blood test the British had developed a long time ago, but you meet some of the most egotistical people in the medical field.

But one can only wonder where this line is drawn, already have the USCIS in our bedroom, had to follow strict state medical guidelines before we could enroll our kids into school, so why not also have the USCIS in our kitchen as well making sure we are eating a proper diet and getting exercise? Wife's former country was even more strict on vaccinations than we are, did make sure she did bring all of her medical records that had to pay a certified translator to translate into English.

Anyway, whatever the USCIS wants the USCIS gets.

Wife commented that the following vaccinations are relatively new and very expensive.

* Rotavirus for infants deals with potential stomach disorder prevention

* Hepatitis A while not as bad as B, can ruin your vacation

* Meningococcal for infants deals with potential lung disorder prevention

* Human papillomavirus for females ages 12-26 that are sexually active to help prevent cervical cancer.

* Zoster new form for chicken pox to help prevent shingles

Just some more financial planning you have to do to bring someone over here. Our medical expenses here are the highest in the world so best to get most of this done before they come here, depending on your country of course.

Using Adobe Acrobat, filled out everything I could on the I-693 for my wife and her children and made several copies for the doctor based on the history of impossible to read doctor's handwriting.

Organized all the vaccinations in a neat order according to the form, with other tests we needed, got those done beforehand using our university medical center and county health department with the translations for other vaccinations and tests. USCIS approved doctor said that was the easiest form and procedure he has ever done. Also saved us several thousand dollars in out of pocket medical expenses and made the process go just that quicker, you have to plan ahead for these things.
