me and my son have been approved since April 08, we got the welcome notice in the mail too in our new address (btw, we moved early march and filed changed of add and notify USCIS and USPS about our address change) after a mo. i got a CRIS email that our gc was returned to USCIS as undeliverable by USPS (i dont know why since we have been receiving notice from USCIS in our new add prior to gc).. we called early june, the person we spoke to told us they are gonna make a service request to resend the gc back, confirmed our add etc and its all good, told us to wait a month. Last week, we called again, all they tell us is to wait... So out of curiousity what is going on I called again today and asked about the status, i was told to file I-90 Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card as we never received our green card. and so i went in to check the form and filed it out... but im confused, is it the best move or should we wait more? coz 2 USCIS people told us diff. story. What do you guys think is better to do? thanks

Make an infopass appointment at your local office and request they resend the Greencard. You also need to put your name on your mailbox as this can be a reason for the USPS to return the card to USCIS.

totally go to your local office, the people on the phone tend to be as much use as a chocolate tea pot. They are contract staff and not even immigration officers.

thanks for the reply, we talked to 3 different people from USCIS hot line today and they are all confusing, the last person sorta gave us a better answer... he said that my son's gc was rec by them as undeliverable and they are gonna resend it back but not mine and im gonna need to file I-90 with $370 fee as it is marked as lost, and the stupid part is they are saying i lost it, wth.. i wasnt even able to hold it but since they have no record that they rec it as undeliverable so.. THAT IS SO FCKNG ANNOYING..... im so frustrated right now, i really think we need to make an infopass.... but im sorry im not sure how to do it? anyone pls?? thanks
