 I am absolutely disapointed, frustrated and angry at USCIS at my attoney and specially at the senator of our state (FL= Bill Nelson)... We filled for the I-130 in February of 2007, they transfered the petition to the Miami office on April 2007... and not even a touch since them... we called them on a weekly basis and the conventional answer is always upsetting as always... Dear Sr. they will contact you with an update of your case between 7 to 10 days... Well they never do... We have contacted everyone, our senator said they could not help us since it was not a life and death situation, USCIS directors office is trying to understand why miami office held our petition for an interview that was never scheduled ( and could not be scheduled since I the beneficiary is in Brazil...)... USCIS, senators, directors... and even more upsetting the attorney we paid to file and work in this case all she can say is it will happen one day, we just need to be patient..

Meanwhile our new born son, is already a toddler and daddy is missing out on the most precious time of his life... :crying:

In March of 2008 we decided to file for the I-129F, in May we requested the I-129F to be expedited, June 15tg 2008 the expedite request was approved... the same as if it wasn t no touchs at all... All we know is that an adjuticator in VSC has it and is working on it... ( what the hell he has to work on it so much that he can not reach a decision after almost 3 months since he has had our file???)

We mailed both petition with proof of bonafide marriage, pictures of a 6 years relationship, bank statements, marriage certificate, the birth certificate of our son, bank statements with our names and insurance proof with both of our names... What else do they really need to foward our case to NVC already...

Well after this ventilation here is my question... Since July 24th 2008 our I-130 has been shown to be touched everyday, it was today too... but it does not show any different status ( it only says your petition has been transfered and is now pending standard processing)... Has anyone here had their petition touched 5 days in a row??? Does it mean anything???

Best of luck to all of us ... and thanks to all VJs members who can share their experience on this matter with me... :star:

I'm right there with you. It looks like the opposite is the case at CSC. There's only 28 people waiting for K-3 NOA2 at CSC within the processing time. There's over 300 waiting for K-1 NOA2. That said, CSC is really moving along with the NOA2s for K-1. Anyway, not a whole lot anybody can do about it I guess. At least my case isn't in some black hole for over a year, with no way to get an answer like some people have here. I guess I should consider myself lucky.

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Has anyone here had several touchs on their petition for a week in a row, every single day, without the status changing??? What does this mean?

Your timeline doesn't make sense. You show packet 3 being received and returned, but you don't show an approval date for your I-129F. If your husband received packet 3, then your I-129F must have been approved and sent to the consulate.

We never receive an email notify us of approval and the online status has not been updated till today.

Our file was touched left, right and center before the approval. So I think the touches are indication they are doing something with your file.

We learned of our approval from the aide at the congressman's office who kept bugging the congressional liaison officer at CSC for us, and of course we received the NOA2 later, 9 days after the approval.

We have not had anything approved yet... :crying: ... I called the embassy and requested them to open an exception and make the provisional file when our expedite request was approved and they sent me the packet 3, which I have only completed but will return to them once I have an interview scheduled...
