i-129f sent on the 8th of july, still no noa1

hi there, my fiance sent the i-129f on the 8th of july and us postal service web site shows it was delived to uscis on the 11th of july, shouldnt we have received the noa1 by now? or does it take this long? he filed through vermont service center, does anyone know the phone number for vsc?

There have been a lot of people waiting for their NOA1's from Vermont. Have a look through the posts in this forum and you'll find out you're not alone. It seems they're starting to come now so hopefully you'll have yours before too long.

It can take a long time in some cases. I've also seen situations in which the NOA1 was never sent/received by the petitioner. What method of payment did you use? If it was a check, you may inquire with your bank to see if the check has cleared. That is an indicator that they've received your petition and it will be adjudicated eventually. (Some people have also been able to read the numbers written on the back of their cancelled check to get their petition #. If USCIS has cashed your check, you may try looking on the back for your #).

As for calling VSC....there's no direct number, just the USCIS 1-800 customer service #, which will do you no good unless you have a petition # assigned to you, otherwise they have to way to look you up in the system.

Patience is definitely something that you need for this 'journey'. (I know, easier said than done...but still bears repeating. )

My fiance has sent a packge on July 7th and we have not received NOA1 either. This is our second package (USCIS lost our first one) , so I am being very anxious.

I am a little bit relieved that there are some people who have been feeling the same. It's hard to be patience after all the efforts you put in this, right? I totally am on the same page as you !! Hopefully they will send us NOA1s soon

its not just vermont many others in the JUly thread have not as well. Some are JUST now getting theirs ..so be pateint it will happen..if it has not by 30 days THEN call them

Vermont has not sent out NOA 1 to any of us July filers. The last NOA1 I know of is of people filing June 30th. so lets not worry!!!!!!!! I am sure August 1st will bring us luck.
