Hey guys! I haven't been on all weekend because we went on that crazy camping trip with what seemed like an elemantary school of kids. Let's say I'm glad to be home.......

Amal...I have lots of nights like those. Sometimes I think I have insomnia and then i will sleep just fine for a week. Malek had me up at 430am this morning thinking he needed a bottle but the poor guy had wet through his diaper so I had to get up and change everything. It sucks that I only had 45 more minutes to sleep.

Well, have a great Monday!

Well, we'll (and by we I mean me as he already knows but is speaking Arabic) see if they got the visa in a few seconds... I think not because I hear a lot of "Sharaf a kelb" sounds coming from Dh.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Any news yet Julianna?

Happy Monday MENA... I need some caffine

I was insomniac last night as well... up at 3:30 with a racing heart, completely awake and no idea why  called hubby and he was fine, called my parents this morning and no news, so I'm assuming it's me having a bad dream and not being able to sleep for the next 3 hrs

my sunglass sunburn has not faded, I am now forced to go to work today looking like a doof...ohhh well...

Sunglass burns are no fun :( I am getting hijab burns on my face haha. A headscarf burn is not hot. If I look at a PICTURE of the sun I am red.

Today my fiance gets his visa! He should be getting it right now actually :) Hopefully I'll see him August 7th! :) Happy Monday everyone!

It's almost back to school time! At least in the South.... I can't believe kids start back to school in just over a week. You Northerners have about a month left.

PB, sorry about your sleepless/heart racing night - hope you feel better today. Hubby's off today and we will go shopping together and then (woot! woot!) my class is on break for 2 weeks, so I don't have to teach tonight! I'm *truly* off work today!!! YAY for Monday!:star::thumbs:

OK! Well his sister got a visa, his borther was denied. His brother hsn't told him yet what paper they gave him... so we're going to see if it's something that can be contested. They did the same thing as always-- asked his brother only one question (how much does he make) and didn't take any of his information he had-- even though we tried to stress to him he needed to show the consulor officer that he had a house, cars, money, etc. Any ideas? :)

So check out this list for Lexy's kindergarten supplies............

3 boxes of 16 crayons (not large)

40 #2 pencils....SHARPENED! (methinks this teacher doesn't want to use the sharpner til October at least!)

2 40-count disenfectant wipes (like those 80 sheets will keep a group of germy kids healthy!)

15 Elmer glue sticks ( is this the morning snack?)

2 boxes of Ziploc bags (Boys bring quart size/Girls bring sandwich size) Its always about size isnt it?

...........and the list goes on. I think she starts school the last week of August. When my kids were in school, kindergarten was like a 3 hour thing. Lexy will go from 8:30-2:30. Of course Jessica will be sitting outside the door for the first few days :D
