I have my SSN since I was a greencard holder.. But now, I became a US citizen last month, Do I need to update my status and change the status as AMERICAN? Do I need to do this ASAP? We are not going to be in the US in 2 years.. as we both work overseas.. Do you think it will be okay not to update my status? What is the process by the way,,

Best to update SSA. I called my local office and they told me what to send in. I sent in a SS5 with the documents they required and they sent the documents back. It was a bit scary as I had to send passport.

Best to go in person. Hard for us as the SSA office is on another island.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Yes, you need to change your status with the SSA. Best thing to do is go in person with your paperwork and updated there.
