Hello Fellow VJers,Ever since Our case was completed on july 18 08,i was very persistant in calling the Nvc of course,to always find out the status of Our file! And at the same time calling Our Congresswomens office, locally and her Washington DC office on several differant occassions during this same time period!I was trying to expediate our case because of my Moms terminal illness all through the process,USCIS,VERMONT SERVICE CENTER,and then the NVC!(CR-1) Denied each step of the way, even though all medical documents and more than enough eveidence was provided to each!!! In the recent past 2weeks,this is what i have done and this is what has happened so far, After contacting our Reps local office the first time, with all docs and evidence, they wroteup a letter on our behalf and sent it to the NVC,while that was being done,i called NVC 2 days later, case was complete.I called our Reps local office again and informed them of this, they said they would now inquire directly to the Manila embassy on our behalf and was told if i didnt hear from them, meaning the local office,by aug,29 08,to call them back and inquire, neddless to say i was a bit outraged at this response, sounded like same thing from the other three entitys,USCIS,VERMONT,NVC!So i called our congresswomens Washington DC office!i explained the entire sitution to the gentleman who ansewered there of what weve been through as far as the process, not seeing each other for over a year, and my Moms terminal condition, being denied all along the way and now the response of the local office!!He said that he would inquire with the local office what was going on with our inquiry and status of our case! After 2 days of no response,i called back to this gentleman in the dc office,as to what was going on,after pleading with this gentleman,to have our congresswomen directly and personally inquire to the Nvc,but especially the embassy in Manila,to try and see if my wife could get an interview asap,he told me that the local office was handling it and there was nothing really more that can be done!I called him the next day informing him that threw her congressional website, along with pacific infromation, that i requested a personal meeting of direct phone call from her!!!!He told me that he would make sure, that my request would get to the right person, lol lol 2days later i recieve a direct letter from our Congresswomen sighned in ink pen by her that she hasnt yet recieved a reply from the manila embassy regurding HER INQUIRY on Our behalf, that as soon as she recieves a reply, she will contact me again, and to please allow the embassy 30days to reply to her inquiry, she says hope this info is helpful,i decided im not waiting on double talk to help us,after my own pleading to the nvc, them telling me theres nothing they can do,till the embassy lets them,i called the embassy my self,in short the immigrant visa unit person told after detailng our case and reason for want ing an early interview, told me ,that while they would really like to help, they have to wait for the nvc to send them the case.i informed her very nicely that was not true because the nvc had sent an email inquriy to the embassy to expediate an interview and also allow my wife to have a visa pickup, which was denied by you the embassy or else tey woulve sent you the case already,i asked true or false? She was very nice and looked up our case, and lo and behold the proof is in the pudding!I got the same response from her basically, but guess what happened the next day day when i called the NVC for an update,i was told by a very nice operator, that our file had left for the manila embassy the day before, that interview letters and instructions had also gone out, that i would probley recieve mine first as im here in the us and in CT,she even informed me that i could copy mine and give it to my wife,so she could have her medical done early,i then asked her if she could give me the interview date, and she said yes,it will be SEPT 23 AT 6:30AM ,sehe even told me sorry that it was so early that they would be extremely busy on that day and also that sorry it couldnt be sooner as the embassy informed them that is the earliest opening they have, she could not tell me about the visa pickup, but i would bet that this is also going to happen because of my pleading of my moms sitution and first through his son Jesus ALMIGHTY GOD GODBLESS TO EVERYONE AND MAY JESUS HELP EVERYONE IN THEIR VISA SITUTION
