Ok so I called NVC...they said the thing that was missing was the IV payment....which they keep going back and forth saying its paid, no its not paid, its paid. But the operator today said that they did receive it and it was being processed and once they processed it then they would schedule the interview!!! I really hope they don't wait until the second week in April to schedule the interview. I saw a thread earlier that some people that had a case complete this week already have and interview date scheduled for early May....here's to hoping.

Hi All,

I'm new here. My husband is Moroccan. We just filed the I-130 a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm waiting. Thought I'd join and get and give some support!!

Welcome to the waiting couch msheesha...here's to a quick, smooth journey!

I hope to finally hop off the couch in about 19 days :P But I'll still keep ya company and bring snacks :D

MsSheesha,

welcome! I hope this time around is smoother and less painful. Perhaps removing yourself a little will save some sanity :)

Still hoping Amanda gets a quick interview

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Thanks Y's Habibitk. It's been a long and expensive process! So, we're definitely hoping it will be quick and painless this time around. And, yup, preserving sanity is definitely needed! Are you going to the interview with your husband in Jordan?

I imagine its been very difficult for you guys.

You'll find alot of support here from these ladies and gentlman. :)

I wish I was going to the interview, but no.

Amanda, sorry to hear that, I saw elsewhere that it doesn't take them too long to straighten that out.

we have the same problem amanda, they say we paid the IV fee before it was invoiced that's why in their website the IV fee in the invoice part is shown as unpaid and in the reciept part paid, so they told us to wait 15 business days until they update their system; hope next week we'll get our case completed and get an appointement date for early may

Wow Princess...glad I'm not the only one. NVC told our agent earlier this week that everything was ok and we are just waiting on the "case complete" and the interview date. I hope they complete both our cases this coming week and we can get an interview early May!!! I am so excited for that e-mail to come. My husband went ahead and did his medical exam on Thursday. They told him to go back tomorrow (Sun) to pick up the results...so that will be out of the way and the only thing left will be the interview. Ughh....this waiting is killing me!!!!!!!!!!! I have a feeling this week will be our week though!

How's everyone today?

We are at 4 months now for AP and the paper they gave him at the interview said 4 months. So I am totally expecting something to happen

...til then I am waiting patiently.

pass the doughnuts (or is it donuts?

Just another Monday on the couch. Still waiting on NVC to give us a case complete. I called this morning and the operator said they have all they need and she is sending our case to a supervisor to complete it. She said the usual "10-15 business days to complete but it could be sooner than that." Enough already!!! My husband did his medical exam Thursday and he went back yesterday to get the results & he passed!!! So that is one step closer. Now if we can just get the darn interview date!

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Since she said "it could be sooner" I would look for a case complete very soon Amanda. That canned 10-15 days junk is just that. So hopefully you will be posting "case complete!" later in the week.... :D
