I do think that VSC is actually picking up the pace a little from earlier in the year. I hope you dont have to wait much longer.

Jackie,

I love the plate that breakfast was on ;)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Yep! Still waiting, too! At one time it looked like the CSC January transfers were all getting processed and approved, but there seems to be a standstill now. It's just over two months since transfer now and not another touch. :crying:

Our 1st anniversary came and went. I'm in a sour mood tonight. Just might go on mah farm and throw a temper tantrum. I could chase olivia and amal up and down the rows of corn. :P

Happy Anniversary Jackie. I'm sorry you had to spend it without your SO. :( I pray you guys get out of AP very soon! I pray that we all get good news before March ends!

Ugh...my husband has been sleeping at the regular time these past 2 weeks...he is sleeping at night instead of during the day (like normal people do) so by the time I get home from work, eat, give my daughter a bath, he is sleeping. I miss him so much, but I am glad he is getting some rest. He usually operates on 2-4 hours a sleep per day! Come on DHL get our DS-230 to NVC so we can get an interview date!!!!

Ahhhhh....finally Friday!!! I hope everyone has a nice relaxed Friday and a great weekend!

Lisa...what phone service do you use. I have crappy Sprint and they charge me $0.20 per text to Jordan and the long distance rate is so high, yet if I use a calling card the connection is horrible. :( Oh well...what can we do but wait. My husband and I swear we are going to throw out the phones and computers when he gets here...no more wires!!!! I can't wait for that day!

Pass some of that white chocolate pudding stuff this way!!!

Amanda

I have t-mobile. texts are like 35 cents to send and 15 to receive. calls are 2.69/minute, so needless to say we never talk on the cell lol. Calls straight thru from the home phone are 53 a minute. Yazied's incoming calls are free and I think 20 piasters or so to call, i dont know about texting.

Too bad our incoming calls arent free!

:ranting:

I use topline or radio gold cards. They seem to work well for a while and then the connections will get bad, so I switch back n forth with more luck with the radio gold cards.

I have tried some of the online places and they arent any better than buying the cards at the stores. I think every store in town knows me for buying int'l calling cards all the time

Now, lets all have some desert. tomorrow i'm making strawberry cake..i'll share it too

:D

Have you guys tried Magic Jack? I tried to get my hubby to get one, but he likes not having a phone. :-( He uses calling cards to call me and he will email me texts to my phone if I'm not home.
