Ugh...in the depression rut again. Seems like this happens to me every few weeks. I have accepted that there is nothing I can do to speed up the immigration process, I suck it up and try to keep going....but then it hits me..just how long I have been away from my SO and how much I need him here with me. I feel so down and lonely and sad and it seems like I can't do anything to get out of it except wait it out. Why does it have to be this way? :crying: I know I will come out of it but I am just feeling so sad tonight. I really miss him. :crying: Seems like that has been my life for the past few months...wait & cry...wait & cry....

I'm sorry honey. I know the feeling. The nights are the worst for me. (F)

* bottom lip quivering....I'm depressed

(F)

I've turned to medicating myself for depression. :P Cookies, chocolate, martini's.... :rofl:

I've tried medicating myselft with sweets as well but all that does is counteract my efforts at the gym...then in turn making myself yet more depressed looking at my flabby midsection in the mirror... :cry: Therefore tomorrow is the day that eating sweets stops & water intake increases. Hopefully I can't get myself looking decent by the time my SO makes it here.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Awww...You look so beautiful in your pics...I'm sure you're harder on yourself (as we all are) than you need to be. You will do fine...I'm sure of it. (F)

thx amanda! I have a really good feeling about this week. It would be soooooooo awesome if it was Thursday!

I feel depressed today about family ####### that is going on with my sister.....but I do have hope for immigration this week! Keep holding on...we will get there soon!

We have to think of a distracting topic...hmmm...my American Idol topic didn't take....I am a music freak and I love all kinds of music...so maybe the topic can be.....

How many of you here in MENA land like the music your SO likes to listen to? Do you listen to music in their native language? Are you learning, plan on learning, or have already learned their language? Discuss. :D

My hubby is a music freak too. He does a lot of choreography for dance and mixes things so he is constantly picking up new things plus old tracks and also adds some arabic beats at times. It's pretty neat. I do not share his love of everything....but we do have very similar tastes. He has the babies dancing already and its pretty hysterical...they even start swaying while they are sitting in their strollers whenever they hear music. :lol::luv:

I know the language but I'm always learning more. I adore Arabic music but that love of middle eastern beats was way before I met him :) We do love almost all the same Middle Eastern singers...except I adore (okay a bit fanatical about) George Wassouf and he can't stand the sound or sight of him. :devil: Little does he know I played George every day for the babies while I was pregnant. :P
