Wow Lisa, I'm glad you're finally done with AP and wishing good luck for the interview. Now I wish Jackie can be done with AP and see her hubby on a plane. Also, good luck for Amanda for a April interview too NVC finishes those docs fast and we got our interview scheduled at the end of the month so it is possible.

NVC Received : 2009-1-16

Received I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26

Pay I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Send Completed I 864 and IV Package (overnight) : 2009-2-4 (had to wait for hubby's PC and original birth certificate to arrive)

Hey Lisa...sorry about the pics...I figured I would change it up a bit so ya'll don't have to look at the same ones all the time. :) Thank you for that comment though...you are so sweet...I really appreciate it :blush:

I hope NVC finally gets our IV & DS-230 processed next week and that our case is completed! And I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Its going to be rainy & cool here all weekend, so I will be inside... :clock::pop:

All the DOS operators now have that ' I'm sorry, it's still pending..' tone to their voices. It used to be...'he JUST interviewed on Dec 1..."

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

Hey Star Dragon...is that your camel keychain in your profile pic? Its funny I just noticed it and it reminded me of the little camel keychain I got for my daughter when I was in Jerash, Jordan. :)

I wish I was there now!! :crying:

Jackie...I cannot compare to your situation, but I do know what it is like to be away from your SO and it sucks...that is all there is to it. But my thoughts and prayers are with you that you are comforted and you find at least a little peace in all this and that you will be reunited with your SO very very soon. Please feel free to vent any time.

They really are trying to reduce the backlog, hopefully you will see the benefits of it very soon.

your so sweet and right! We all do need to support eachother. This process is brutal and if it wasnt for people like you guys and my k3 family, i would have lost my sanity long ago :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Yes, I bought 2 camel keychains at he airport in Casablanca when I had a layover there to come back home on my last trip. I was bummed (of course) and so I bought them and sent him the other one. We'd had camped out in the Sahara on that trip, first time for both of us, so it had sentimental value..lol.. That pic was taken on the shuttle from the terminal to the airplane! :(

Ugh...in the depression rut again. Seems like this happens to me every few weeks. I have accepted that there is nothing I can do to speed up the immigration process, I suck it up and try to keep going....but then it hits me..just how long I have been away from my SO and how much I need him here with me. I feel so down and lonely and sad and it seems like I can't do anything to get out of it except wait it out. Why does it have to be this way? :crying: I know I will come out of it but I am just feeling so sad tonight. I really miss him. :crying: Seems like that has been my life for the past few months...wait & cry...wait & cry....
