Squatting over a hole in the ground is easier than squatting over a dirty toilet. I lived in Japan for a while and I think the public toilet holes are a good thing.

Every woman should always carry TP with them in any foreign country - and in some places in the US also.

I lived in Japan for a while too. We called them "squatty potties". lol. Try squatting over one of those in your last trimester of pregnancy. Interesting experience.

There is a wonderful mix of MENA vj'ers ---------some have their SO's here and some are waiting. This thread is for the ones clicking on the USCIS website 1,000 times a day. For the ones having to rely on webcams and phone cards to sustain their relationships.

Check in and let's keep each other company while we wait. What are you doing to fill your time?

I am a June filer for CR1 and July for K3.

I did see some May filer approvals ! Are you all checking alot to look for a 'touch' ? Rajaa did you get touched yet?

Lulu just escaped and on his way to NVC..... Who else is waiting here? Lulu you keep us posted here on your progress.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Good Morning Ladies (and gents)! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was stressful and rough...now with the time change on top of that...I think this week is going to be an interesting one.

Quick question for all of you who have been through (or are still at) NVC....I can see that our IV bill has not been paid (online)...I have been bugging our attorney in Amman to pay the bill. He said he is waiting for the bill in the mail. It seems like every operator I get at NVC tells me something different...one told me at the end of Feb that it was sent out, then I was told the next week it wasn't sent yet & then Friday they said stuff is generated on the weekend and it should go out this week???? Our attorney doesn't want to pay until he gets the bill. From your experience, did you receive the IV bill & packet? I know I have read that a lot of people never get the packet they just send it in on their own. I'm not getting anywhere trying to convince our attorney to go ahead and send in the paperwork. NVC operator also said that they sent the AOS packet (I-864) to my address the last week in Feb and I didn't receive it yet. The AOS fee bill got to me within 4 days...so I am worried. What should I do????

Sorry to bug you today with endless questions, but I need a little help. Thanks so much!!!

Jax,

Did Ibriham get two packets or just one stating the interview date and instructions?

Yazied has told me about two guys recently that just got one letter with instructions and an interview date already assigned. and Amman emailed me and said "once we get the file, we will schedule the interview"

Im wondering if there is a "packet 4" for Amman K-3's.

Do you remember?

Thanks :luv:

He got nothing! Emabassy said they mailed it. It never came.

So they emailed him a copy of the insructions and emailed me the interview date cuz I asked. He had to print every form off the computer.
