Still no word on the passport-I'm sure he'd have called if it got there today! :unsure: There's still a week to go b4 we start buggin them!

May 29,2008- flew to Jordan June 1, 2008-started the long CRAZY process of standing in line, waiting for stamps, and being sent from one office to another only to pay another fee and find another line! June 3,2008-The HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE! June 11, 2008- Returned home,started paperwork.June 30, 2008-Sent off I-130 pkt to Chicago.July 3, 2008-I-130 pkt received, fwd to CSC.August 4, 2008-NOA #1 August 11, 2008-Sent in I-129F pkt to CSC.August 18, 2008-NOA#2*APPROVED*September 4, 2008-NVC printed AOS instructions-(mailed Sept. 8) September 13, 2008-Rec'd AOS Bill in the mail.[/i] September 15, 2008-Used online payment option.-October 14, 2008-Sent off AOS packet with joint sponsor info.-rec'd@NVC Oct 15. I will be there for only one week. We will have been apart for 1 yr 2 months, we have some catching up to do :wub:

The Dead Sea....I was there and took some beautiful pictures! It was the only place in Jordan I saw a camel.

Ya'll got anything good for breakfast? Pass it down the couch plz.

Hmmm- definately go to Petra-- we saw a ton of camels on the way there---open range camels_-- hubby couldn't figure out why the camel crossing signs had me soo ecstatic, I told him we have signs like that only there is a big COW on it... or a deer or elk-- then he was really confused! LOL!

Hey maybe you know Jackie... You know that meat, its kinda the consistancy of bologna, only I know it can't possibly be lips and ash holes! We ate it with breakfast int he family home... and those sweet creamy butterl/cheese type sauces... do you know what any of that is???

As of today: I130-253 days, I129F - 193 days .....Updates - none from VSC

Were moving into 8 1/2 months with no approval yet ... :unsure:

Visited hubby in Tunisia 2 times in past 10 months. If he's not here by the summer, would like to make it back there BUT daughter is spending summer in Europe - so all my $$$$$ will be with her!

Just wanted to share my status! Always good luck to those still waiting too :luv:

May 11, 2010 - text message stating application received

May 13, 2010 - NOA1 for AOS

May 17, 2010 - Biometrics letter rec'd

June 10, 2010 - Biometrics appt

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Yay for Approvals! We like approvals! Unfortunately, sometimes they take a while. The time is coming P+A.

Two more days till DOS hears my lovely voice again :)

Got married : 6-3-06

I-130 delivered : 6-12-06 - Appt in Cairo

I-130 Approved : 4-18-08 - USCIS approval!!

Visa Interview Date : 6-22-08

Case sent to WADC: 8-6-08 - FBI check

Email From Embassy 1-09 - Still in AP (7 months)

19 DHL scans - 2-19-09

1-26-09 - Out of AP, now final review

2-26-09 - Visa in hand!

3-11-09 - POE JFK - Got stuck there due to immigration taking too long. They didn't change his visa from CR1 to IR1, have to go to immigration here to fix it.

3-12-09 - Arrived in Portland!!

5-29-2010 - Zane was born ** Absolute best day of my life!

6-7-2010 - Ahmed went back to Egypt

8-23-11 - Filed for divorce

1-12-12 - Divorce final

I'm with you, Jackie, on the comfort food, but I'm afraid I'm going the carbo route. Some nice squishy mashed potatoes sound wonderful!

Shape...hmm..I've been paying for gym membership every month and havent gone since November. oh noooooooo! But my clothes still fit me and I've maintained my weight so that's something I guess :devil:

Mmmmm.....food. My mom made salmon patties for dinner (traditional first day of lent food...lol). I'll have to stop over there on the way home from work for some. That's comfort food to me :innocent:

Dunno if a switch got hit in me or what but I started to get excited today for my trip :P

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

OK, so I just checked Aramex.... it left the embassy tonight(lastnight-Jordanian time)!!! He -in theory- should have his passport in hand by mid-day! Oh my gosh I can't believe we are sooooo close! Maybe headed toDenver Friday after work-OH MY GOSH!!! AHHHHHH! :dance:

I don't mean to rub salt in wounds girls- this is just the only place I have to Jump and shout, and you have all been right there with me thru it all! My love to you all and I hope to learn how to post photos from photobucket, so you can see his arrival soon!!!--- :dance: I'm giddy! he hehe!--AMY
