Thats great! NOA2's rock!

It should (but dont bet the farm on it) ..should move thru NVC rather quickly and be on its way to Amman. They will assign an interview date and that should be about a 2 month wait. So yes, your timeframe is right in line as long as no ap's, rfe's or other such glitches don't come into play.

I hope you sail right thru and get a date secured! It's nice to have something to look forward to.

Got any cookies?

Hey, Jackie, I know you don't really know me as I don't post here much, but I'm digging that sofa bed so I had to ask. Where did you find it? It's a loveseat, right? I need something like that for my son's bedroom, but they're more than I want to pay at IKEA.

for sure, grab the febreeze

Sofabed.jpg

I found the perfect couch! When its time for your slumber party, we can just flip it open! :)

i think i want to vent/whine again today... why didnt we just file a darn 130 alone? i mean..the k3 looked so great, the processing times were rocking when i researched it. then again, we ended up at VSC(8-10 months), not CSC(3-6 months). people who filed at CSC are already approved and have their spouses interviewed or already home. waaaaaaaaaaa

So because of my geographical location, we have been waiting 10 months, and now more waiting!

:deep breathe: ok, i usually keep my whining in the k3 forum, but i know im safe here with my fellow couch buds :D

thank god for this place you guys, for real! people who havent "been there and done that" just dont get it

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Do you think adding the K-3 caused problems? Because I filed K-3.

well, the issue is that stand alone 130's at VSC are being transferred to CSC and they receive a speedy approval. the k3's at VSC are waiting at least 8 months. whereas, the cr-1's are more like 3-6 months :(. VSC has picked it up a tiny bit lately, so i hope you get faster service than we did

I got my whining out last night, and im back :D I realized that since we waited so long and are now in AP at NVC, we may dodge the after interview AP...its already been through the ringer, hopefully they will just give him the visa quickly without being held up for more "security checks". So, for now i will be grateful that our waiting is being done now.

i think it would be even harder if i knew he was approved then just hung out to dry for some unknown time like dear jackie :(

good luck eveyone who is waiting. childress, may vsc be better to you than they have been lately :star:

We're hoping the same thing Lisa. All this waiting is killing. I got some good news last night. I may finally have a joint sponsor and can drop the K3 official and move the IR-1 along.

And it's not a green cricket commercial couch either. It can be whatever couch you like. I prefer the $3,000 beige suede sectional from Pottery Barn. It's nice and cozy to take naps on while waiting. :P
