Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 6, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

You wouldn't believe it but yeah the I129f I thought was yours... and I was so excited for you than realized it was mine..... than almost stopped breathing and started IMing you than much late I decided to check my email and an email was sent at 9 pm (it was midnight BTW) saying my I130 was also approved!! Went back to USCIS site and there it was!!!

So they must be clearing off their desks for the Vermont work that is being shifted over!!!! I will still keep eyes on yours. Also Patty Murrays office (conresswoman) her office called yesterday so I am signing the form and they would be more than "happy to keep tabs on our case"

now i've got to get the timing just right!

Thanks again folks

Rajaa

So happy for you Rajaa! yeah!!!!!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Did anyone get an email when your case was touched?

"Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing"

I am just wondering if they only send emails for rfe's or approvals.... I have the email notification set up but no emails.

Good luck everyone! I pray for all of us waiting everynight :)

no touch. no approval. But I think it will take a few weeks longer.

When we get approved...I'm gonna be dancing all over this page! I'm gonna use a dancing smiley....one for every day we waited. Like candles on a cake...I will have dancing smileys!
