Amanda when our K3 was approved, the site never updated to say approved, the NOA2 just appreared in the mailbox! So keep strong and we are all here with ya! It will happen soon!

I hope that is the case Jackie. I hope it just appears!! I can handle waiting...its just the waiting without knowing anything! I just have to hold out and keep praying. It will come soon!! Thanks for the encouragement...it helps a lot.

Yep Amanda it's true for us too but we went cr1 route that's why you have to stay on top of the website if you wanna know.

Don't worry about that...I'm all over the USCIS website several times a day...but nothing has changed in over 2 months. I talked to the immigration attorney in Amman who filed our paperwork because the K-3 vs. CR1 question came up and I wasn't exactly sure what he did. He sent me an e-mail back simply saying he sent the I-130 petition and applied for the green card. I am totally confused now as to what he did...but he is super busy & seems like his english isn't that good so it is hard to get much detailed information out of him. I'm wondering what to do now...at least the I-130 has been filed!

I think we can all relate to this.

My husband and I have both had our times where we just thought we could cry for days on end.

I don't have anything magical to say to make it easier, only that you do have people here that can relate to the ups and downs of this process.

The average joe just doesnt get it. I have friends and family, they asked about when my husband was coming, they sympathized the best they could..but really? no one "gets it" other than people who have walked down that path or are currently on it.

Whine all you want, cry whatever you need..you will find support here.

It looks like you will hear something soon from the senator office hopefully. We got an answer not long after they sent the letter to VSC.

The only consolation that we had through this waiting was that we had plenty of time to gain more intimacy, and confidence in our ability to get through anything together. I love my husband more eveyday, and I will never take him for granted and vise versa.

thank you for that Y_habibitk and Amandagharam. i really mean that. that was the first heart felt reply i have gotten. i so much last night that i awoke with a headache and my voice was gone......and still is gone. i felt a little flicker of when i read what you all said. and es inshallah things will move now that the senators office has joined in. inshallah they will get them to move their feet. i used to work for the same senator of the lady from the senators office that is handling this......maybe that will work more. i dont know. but thank you for your words of encouragement and may we all be in the arms of our loved ones.

Thanks Amanda your husband's eyes has similar eyes to my husband it makes me smile to see you two so happy. I am going to my friends after work to drink tea and unleash frustraions on her. Her husband is from palestine so she's got her own situation going on too.

I know the guilt factor. My fiance quit his job (or gave notice) and out of selfishness, anger, revenge or I don't know WHAT, his boss today let go of every other employee there too. I feel horrible like it's my fault even though it's not....but kinda. I'm sure the family guilt will come as the time gets closer for him to come. I just have been thinking today, how many lives are going to get ruined because we want to be together? (on my end and his end)
