update: Husby is looking at tickets prior to the 25th of this month insha'allah. now that he's back in morocco he seems to miss me more since we both left @ the same time funny how things change with our MENA men....

Yea! See that K3 moved right on thru NVC!

Ibrahim never received his K3 packet tho with the interview date. About 2 weeks after Amman got it, they told me in email that it was sent to his home address. Well, 2 weeks went by and I emailed and asked if they could tell ME the date, as eid was beginning and they would be gone....they did email me back the date and an attatchment of the checklist. The interview was 63 days away from the date they told me, so maybe a March interview for you.

NVC said they would be sending it on to Amman "this week", so we are really looking forward to a March or early april at the latest interview. yipppeeeeeee

Honestly, it was so hard to sit at VSC for 8 months..I am so grateful to be done with that and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel! i think I will poke/pinch Yazied's arm for months after he gets here saying...are you really here?! heh heh

update..... Husband is due to arrive on the 21st @ 10:30 just got the confirmation!!!!! :dance:

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

There is a wonderful mix of MENA vj'ers ---------some have their SO's here and some are waiting. This thread is for the ones clicking on the USCIS website 1,000 times a day. For the ones having to rely on webcams and phone cards to sustain their relationships.

Check in and let's keep each other company while we wait. What are you doing to fill your time?

I am a June filer for CR1 and July for K3.

I did see some May filer approvals ! Are you all checking alot to look for a 'touch' ? Rajaa did you get touched yet?

Lulu just escaped and on his way to NVC..... Who else is waiting here? Lulu you keep us posted here on your progress.

eta: Does the K3 noa come quick?

My husband is from Jordan too!! We filed our K-3 in November 2008 & got NOA1 on Nov. 21st. No touches and no info since then, but compared to everyone else here I haven't been waiting long. But we are already struggling with having to kiss each other through the webcam and rely on internet connections to talk & see each other!! It sucks so bad and I want to hop on a plane to Amman right now!!
