Star that was sure nice of them.....

ok ladies, my husband still hasn't left spain he got his visa on the 16th apparently he is still waiting for his spainish residancy card that should arrive sometime the end of this month... then a couple of weeks with his family in casa then here... :unsure:

If he just went home to casa now he can get here to the u.s. perhaps a couple of weeks sooner.... but he seems very certain his spainish residancy is important why????????? He tells me he wants me to understand but i don't

You're just excited to get to see him honey bunny. That's why. What is a few weeks? It's not that long...give it time. He's trying to make sure all your options are covered. Think positive... (F)

I agree..permanent residency is pretty big and to be so close, I'd sure want that under my belt. It's like......getting a Costco card AND a Sam's Club card. Then all bases are covered.

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

Thank God I don't have to argue with my husband about not coming straight here...... he says hell pick up his visa and go straight to the airport lol...... Is that possible...

My coworker's son is 2 classes away from getting his Masters degree, only now he's changed his mind about what he wants to do, so he quit! Even if you change your mind about it, you should see it through....you never know and you worked towards it, so why not?

That was my hubby only they didn't have a flight that night...too late :P So he came the next day! Haha....but the babies were coming and like Jax said...would have incured bodily injury had he been late! :P

hello all,

my name in abdulnasir. i too am waiting for my loved one to come from moroc. i miss her very much. i check the USCIs web site 3 times a day. when i awake , at work and before i sleep. this waiting think is killing me and my fiance. her cousin just got married and she told her my fiances mama that she will live in her house before my meryem will :angry: meryem :crying: and it hurt me. i filed in july and i have had like 12 touches, but no RFE ( alhumduallah ) and no NOA2 either. does anyone hae a clue? am i just worrying for nothing? and my time line on here says NOA2 around the end of the month..................not december, but november. well its the 20th of december. im loosing it :wacko: HELP!!

01/04/09: Went to senators office to speak to them about an inquiry into my case.

01/06.09: Senators office send letter of inquiry to UNCIS CSC.

02/18/09: Called USCIS asked for service request

02/21/09: Recieved letter from USCIS that im in security checks :( and to call beck in 6 nonths..... WOW

02/25/09: APPPRROOVVVVAAALLLL NOA2 Alhumduallah

03/05/09: NVC receives papers

03/06/09: NVC send papers to counsulate

03/12/09: Counsulate have papers

03/27/09: Packet 3

04/02/09: Doctors (everything is a-okay0

04/28/09: Interview

04/28/09: AP ( need nothing further will call when able to proceed

05/04/09: Counsulate call and tell her to come 05/06/09 to counsulate for appointment? Told to bring passport......Is this the day???

05/06/09: Second interview (everything went well) Counsulate keep passport

05/07/09: Call from counsulate to pick up visa tomorrow

05/08/09: VIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAA IN HAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

ALLLLLLLLHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMDDDDDDDDDDDDDUUUAAALLLAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

OK star you win geeeeeez gotta say you got me with the degree that's what i did i eventually settled on a degree just cause it was a degree not what i really wanted, not that it matters anyway.

But the sams club card versus the costco did make a strong point just not one that drove it home for me as I only have a costco care :) and yeah you did make me laugh.

With all my countdowns and craziness, I had not thought what would happen with an extended AP. Never crossed my mind. In my thoughts, he would interview on the 1st...have his visa by middle of the month and fly home. Delusional. I had it wrong.

So now trying to wrap my brain around the fact that I am alone and will probably be this way for awhile. I just called the magic number and same thing. I will call again tommorrow afternoon.

Ibrahim's work wants to send him to London for a week in Febuary :| I should have stayed on the cr1 course, I took a wrong turn.

I remember being in AP for the whole month of January sucked big time because of the holidays there. Hang in there and keep yourself busy it shouldn't be too much longer.
