My friend, Hani, his wife interviewed in Amman today.

They wanted her ds156 & ds157 TYPED and not handwritten  So they told her to send in the papers and her passport, and visa in 2 weeks to 2 months. He was very worried about this interview, as he was an immigrant himself just a few years ago.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Just found this - looks like its been up for awhile (few months).

So sorry to see that many are still waiting & have been seperated from loved ones for an extraordinary amount of time. :(

We will be out of our USCIS "processing time" frames in about 5 1/2 weeks & plan to fully proceed with whatever ammo we can in January to get our case moving at VSC - wish us luck as we wish the same to all others on this journey ...
