I'm a July filer for the K1 VISA. We got our NOA1 on August 18th & we were touched on August 21st. Nothing much has happened since then. :( We are still waiting. Time seems to go by so slowly when you're apart, huh? Good luck to all of us as we wait to join our loved ones. :) May God protect us & grant us ALL a speedy & successful journey through this whole VISA process. :)

There is a wonderful mix of MENA vj'ers ---------some have their SO's here and some are waiting. This thread is for the ones clicking on the USCIS website 1,000 times a day. For the ones having to rely on webcams and phone cards to sustain their relationships.

Check in and let's keep each other company while we wait. What are you doing to fill your time?

I am a June filer for CR1 and July for K3.

I did see some May filer approvals ! Are you all checking alot to look for a 'touch' ? Rajaa did you get touched yet?

Lulu just escaped and on his way to NVC..... Who else is waiting here? Lulu you keep us posted here on your progress.

Ok, seriously ... SERIOUSLY (I watch Grey's anatomy a lot.....lol)

We got our NOA2 over a month ago and we don't have our Packet 3 yet....ARGH!!!!!!!!!! :angry:

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

i had filed in late Feb and just now with NOA2 so u maybe a while yet :thumbs: especially now i see you are in vermont...mine sat in vermont for 6 months with NOTHING until they transf it to calif then about a month there and it was done

Ok I gave myself a day to not think about it (yesterday) Now today I'm annoyed :angry:

Still no Packet 3!! I'm surprised that when I emailed them they told me they had our file and were "working" on it. I thought at least they'd give me a date. :(

I emailed Amman a few times this week.

They still say they mailed packet 3 to him and no sign of packet 3 since Sept 24. They emailed me the Checklist. Ok..so where to do medical and pay the fee?

Good thing Lulu is there, he will meet with Ibrahim and help him prepare.

Todays email....his interview will be at 7:30am on December 1! This rocks! That's 11:30pm my time,,,and I for sure will be up waiting for the phone to ring!

I emailed Casa again. I tried to be as polite as possible and sprinkled my email with imaginary pixie dust (I'm such a dork :P )

But seriously....at least a date so we know and he can at least go get his medical done :unsure:
