Maybe you'll be one of those cases where you find out by mail one day after you've been approved with the online not being updated. I'm seeing that a lot lately. One of the K1 gals got the notice from NVC that her case was being transferred to the consulate, and she had never even gotten the NOA2! :blink:

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

Awww thx. I feel a little like I am letting him down by now having to do AOS and EAD when he could have come with a greencard.

And yes I am also a believer in things happening for a reason. We might need that second chance of the cr1, right?

why would you feel like that?? you did and do what you feel is right no one can fault you for wanting your husband... i want mine tool.

my husband's k3 interview is nov 10th we will cancel it i will need to send an email tonight i am hoping we will have a case complete in time for a november intervew in Spain but i am setteling in for a december interview but like you said. No AOS or EAD and he can get his SS card and drive... lol he even said when he gets here he'll drive me to work and pick me up every day lol

Sooo...I just called the DOS (on a suggestion) and they said that Casa mailed out the Packet 3 today to my hunny...But they didn't know an interview date..they said that he has to send the packet back and then be scheduled...Hmm...I know Casa doesnt' work that way - they send the interview date WITH the packet, dont' they?

At any rate, they told me it was sent out today. Wonder if that's really the case? :huh:

I emailed casa this afternoon....i think they're closed monday for Columbus day though......ah well. The Moroccan post shouldn't be closed, so hopefully that packet will still make it's way through :devil:

Not sure. :whistle: I just remember in school making three sail boats out of contruction paper and pipe cleaner when I was a kid...

Hey, would Columbus be considered the first immigrant to the US? :lol:

star... my husband had his interview date in his packet....so not sure why they wouldn't know????

Big bummer.... we got an rfe on one question... cost us the cutoff for november interviews boooohoooooo
