I gave up on getting the cr1 out of NVC and just rolling with the K3 at this point.

Rajaa....fly into either Midway or Ohare and I will scoop you up! Stay at my house Saturday night and fly home on Sunday. I have that whole weekend off so you can fly in either Friday night or Saturday morning. :)

lol... hiding until the consulate aproval was done. so I am back he got approved for Spain consulate whooot hooooot not sure if that'll help with the AP cause well, he is still Arab hehe

If you have the time you can send via USPS pretty cheap in first class air mail. For a standard size letter it cost me 97 cents and it arrived in Jordan to my husband in 5 days...not bad!!

I would not send originals this way without some sort of tracking number which is not available on overseas regular first class mail...but it is very reasonable for sending copies...or a love letter!!

lulu....if I email Jordan, willl they tell me the interview date? I am so anxious to know! It couldn't hurt right, to email them? Or should I wait til they send it to him? How did you learn of your wife's date?

email them in a week or so. short and sweet. I emailed them.

I emailed twice, jumped the gun totally and now I have to wait it out. :D The interview will be in Nov or December so I am just in 'sit back and chill' mode now.

Wow, after approval there is a flurry of activity, then nothing again. And to think after Ibrahim gets here I have to do aos/ead ...oh joy. While I have everything out and in order, I should get that packet prepared ahead of time.

whassup sista? Nothing much here...working way too hard and buying gifts for my wife. And ramadan is taking a toll on me. I don't get up for sahoor and go workout from 5 to 630 prior to breakfast. Been kinda out of it and anti social lately...haven't talked to my wife since Sunday...i am beefing with her but she doesn't know it. LOL.

lulu, I thought it was just me! I'm fuming with Ibrahim probably just cuz he's breathing and he knows nothing bout it..lol. This separation is taking its toll.

I emailed them twice, too soon. I gave him the embassy number and he is going to call on Sunday or Monday. I hope you have a wonderul safe trip to Jordan!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

LuLu and JJ I have been fighten with my guy too then broke down and sent him bunch of "fun" things and pictures of us... and some warm shirts and a stuffed animal with my perfume on it.. corny i know but he got it yesterday and is sooooooooo lovin on me now hehehehe.

Ramadan is just not easy and the distance doesn't help... but insha'allah next year whoooot we'll all be having a good time.
