Congratulations Sharifah!!! That is awesome news!!! (sorry for the late congrats but somehow I didn't get the e-mail update for this thread for several days and then I get the alert and see there are 3 pages I have missed!!!)

Congratulations Childress on the interview date!!! Sept will be here soon!! Good luck! I know everything will be just fine.

Beth...you are next hon!!! Keeping the prayers going for you!

Hi Lisa, Jackie, HLM, Kenza!

As for me...still unhappy here at work & still looking for something else. Hubby is still without work. Ex-husband is behind on child support 3 months now. I went to child support enforcement and apparently he has been paying $20 less than what he is supposed to pay. They have taken my case and they are going to enforce the order. I pray he doesn't retaliate. I am actually hoping this will make him leave the country! Anyway...I hope everyone is well. Pray for me!

Sorry to hear about the child support drama. How could he retaliate though? You really dont need anymore stress....good grief. (F)

I guess you didnt hear back from your old job that had the opening? I was really hoping for you.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I just mean I don't want my ex to get angry and then try to start something with me. He doesn't want to go to court at all...he is on probation for DUI and is trying to avoid court all together so hopefully he will comply or leave the country.

As for my old job, no I haven't heard anything back yet...I hope I will hear something soon. The woman in that position doesn't leave until Thursday or Friday so maybe they are waiting until she is actually gone to interview? I am wondering if I should just shoot my old boss and e-mail to check???

Amanda,

Maybe sending your old boss a email would show him you are very interested in the position, to me that is a good sign of a person who wants to work for the company. Good luck Hon, problems at work are the worst. Im struggling everyday at my desk to keep from breaking down. Went to the doctor today, said my heart beat is too fast and blood pressure is sky high, if I dont calm down, I will have a tag on my toe. Even telling him about the stress Im under with this USCIS ####### I broke down like a baby. I cant take much more, Im breaking.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
