HI Kenza, how are you Sweetie? How is Paris> Gosh Im counting the days till I leave, I wish you were going to still be there when I get there.

Hey do my favor, go to Notre Dame, the cafe right threre at cornor by Notre Dame, sit outside and have a expresso for me, I always sit there when Im in Paris, I just love it when the bells at Notre Dame ring, SIGH!! Enjoy Dumpling. Lets hear your good news too soon.

Love ya, big hug.

Beth

Beth, do you have facebook? I have all my pics on there for you to see! Paris is great, there is always something to do and the sun doesn't set until 10:30! inshallah I will find the cafe you are talking about and have a little something with my hubby. The other day we went to Moulin Rouge and I felt bad as I sat there drinking Starbucks! I hope we both hear good news this week-we deserve it!

LOL Starbucks, my husband just cringes when I go into a Starbucks in Paris, yes, I loved it when I was there in July, 10:30 pm sun is just setting, I loved it soooo much. the cafe is right there at the cornor, and 25 feet away is the side/front of Notre Dame. You will enjoy it, i hope the bells rign while your sitting there, SIGH. Gosh I cant wait till Sept 5th when Im on a plane to go there.

Oh yes, I have face book, I will PM you my email . Take care, be sweet.

Love ya!!!

Sigh. I would love to go to Paris some day. Drove through it on my way to England many years ago and thought I would come back for a visit, but never did. :-( My mother is from France and I even have relatives nearby. Maybe someday! lol

Thanks Zarqa!!! I hope everything gets back on track with your case and everything is resolved very very soon!!

Hey Lisa, or anyone who might have an idea...I checked the Aramex website again this morning for visa shipment status & on 6/16/09 it had a status of shipment on hold and on 6/18/09 (today)...the same status, shipment on hold. What does that mean??? Does it mean they just didn't ship it yet??? Ughhhh....I just want them to call him to pick it up!!

hmmm Amanda. Has it gone anywhere or its just been "on hold" the whole time in Amman?

Zarqa,

Im glad that you are getting somewhere with the consulate.

Are you saying that your husband has two petitions going for him? One from you and one from his brother?

Hey Lisa...It was on hold the whole time but what was confusing is that the website says "Pick Up" and has the date 6/15/09 which was his interview date & the time was right around the time he left the embassy...so I broke down & called Aramex...the woman told me that the package is still at the embassy & to check back in around 6:30 (Jordan time) because that is the pick up time for the embassy...if it doesn't go out today, she said the embassy is closed on Friday & Saturday & to check back on Sunday. So hopefully it goes out today!!????!!!

How is everyone today? The days were so long but the week went by fast, how does that happen lol

well today is Josh's last day at daycare and starting next week, it will be daddy daycare at our house. They'll have loads of fun and J's behavior is so much better after just spending every other day at home with Y for the past weeks. I think he'll be a little angel after full time with him :D Then, in august he'll start kindergarten

At least Y wont be bored sitting at home awaiting the EAD heh

Hey Lisa...doing well here. Glad it's Friday! I don't know how long it will take for Aramex to deliver the package to Irbid...they picked it up yesterday and since you know most everyone is closed on Friday there, I don't know if Aramex runs today...so maybe tomorrow or Sunday?? I am so excited. Hopefully he will be flying in next weekend! Oh & Lisa...Raad is going to be watching my little girl too until he finds a job to give my mom a break! :)

I hope everyone else is doing well today.

Amanda

thats right, it is friday. So here's to hoping for Sunday. :)

Thats great Raad is going to watch your little girl. That will give them time to bond and get to know eachother.

On top of great bonding time for Y & J, its going to save me 400/month too!
