So, I mailed the EAD to the wrong service center(since the instructions list KY under the wrong one). CSC sent it back and asked us to mail it to the appropriate service center.

I mailed it to VSC(according to the uscis "direct mailing link"). VSC just sent everything back and said to mail it to Texas. They also included an NOA1. Our case status is received and pending at VSC even though they sent everythign back with the check included.

Just had to vent. If I mail it to Texas and they send it back and ask me to send it to nebraska or the moon service center...i might loose it lol

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hey Lisa or Jackie...or Courtney...or Kristen....or anyone who has done a visa interview at the embassy in Jordan....

Someone mentioned on another thread something about an additional questionnaire that their embassy had on their website (she didn't mention what country & it wasn't on her profile) that her husband filled out and that made a difference between approval and AP for her husband. I asked her what embassy and she didn't respond back yet. Any of you know if that is the case for Jordan???

Also...how long did your hubbies have to wait before they were actually interviewed? Do they get assigned a number and they wait until their number is called?? How much earlier than the interview time should hubby arrive?? His interview is at 8 am on Monday.

Any feedback is appreciated!! I feel like I'm going to throw up!!

hey amanda. i have never heard of a questionare  I dont know of anything that can save you from AP if they need/want to do it post interview.

Yazied was let into the embassy at 730am and it was a 2 hour wait to have the actual interview. He was first in line, so i guess it could take longer if you arent ?

how is Raad holding up? is he freaking or calm or what?

I wish I could tell them anything :P

I have been on the uscis eons of times, and I have added my profile but it will not let me enter my receipt number saying its not valid. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue.

I got a formal reply back finally from Cairo Embassy stating our visa is still on hold waiting for packet three and to send them the new address so they may send the updated packet. Waleed gets some days off at the end of the month and we will go to Cairo to get his Medical check to get the last pieces of the packet before sending it in. At the medical check places they said they changed the process and they need some letter requesting from the embassy for a medical check for the packet so we're waiting on the updated paperwork namely that letter so he may go for his medical check and finish the packet and send it in.

I havent ever had it happen but I have read of many people with the same problem.

When you call the info line, does it accept your recepit number, can you get updates from the automated line?

OMG honey. dont lose hope..those two touches back to back have to be a good sign! I wish my vj friends were closer, I would take you out and help you forget about the waiting and seperation even if it was only one day (F)

I can offer a virtual hug ((((((Beth)))))) and a shoulder anytime you need it. Seriously, two touches back to back after an RFE is a great thing.. they ARE looking at it.
