Zarqa, Im glad you stopped in to update us.. you have been on my mind. It sounds good that the case is still in madrid. I hope marc ellis, the senator and you can get another interview with a sup and get your hubby home very soon. YOu are in my thoughts and prayers (F)

Jackie,

how exciting that Lexi is going into real big girl school next year! Josh should have been in kindergarten this year but missed the cutoff by 3 days <_<

dont work too hard woman, although it probably helps pass the time, im sure

Amanda, i will hop on FB and add ya have you mastered mansaf yet? that is SURE to impress the husband when he gets here ;) lol Y was like.. "this is just like home!!" Its easy really and im sure there are some recipes out there and in the sultans kitchen that is pinned in MENA

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I am being very reminiscent (sp?) tonight...thinking about my hubby & my time in Jordan.

Just curious...to all the ladies, how did your MENA men propose to you??

Hubby proposed at a sunset picnic at Eiffel Tower, July 17th, 2007 It was so romantic.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Oh yes, almost 3 years. We met on a military wesite, Nov. 2006. I do a lot of care packages for our boys and girls overseas, I send boxes with candy, TP, soap, hand lotion, cards, bug spray, etc to help our boys & girls overseas. And Im also a big Pen Pal of our men and women overseas, well he PM me sent me a wink, I thanked him, and a few days went by and sent me another wink, and said I was stuck up, I said, No Im not, Im too old for you, Im 7 years older, anyways, he kept emailing me, so I emailed him back, next thing I knew we were making plans to see each other, and the rest isa history. Best thing ever to happen to me.

He is my life. How about you Amanda, how did he purpose and how did you meet?

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
