Hey guys.

Jackie, I hope you are sorting your feelings out with sucess

Mariah, The hubby is here tomorrow right?

Amanda, Are you guys all prepared for the interview? Are you starting to nut up about it yet? :P

Zarqa, (F) We're here for ya.

Moh,

Brother. I have been praying for you and I just know everything will be fine very soon for you guys. And soon you will be posting that she got the visa and she's coming home :)

Emily, glad you are here and I hope you guys are united soon

Childress and Paris, your approvals are in my thoughts and prayers also. Come on already dammit!!! :P

Anyone else still waiting for something... hang in. :)

I totally cannot concentrate at work. Yazied will be here in 2 days and I just want this week over with lol After almost 16 months you woudl think I could be patient for 2 more days but sheesh.... come ON Thursday!

(L) to my couch buddies

Hey Lisa---hang in there...wow 2 days...I would not be able to do any work whatsoever!!! That is so exciting. And please, when Yazied gets here don't go anywhere near VisaJourney for at least a few weeks! Have fun and I hope all of his flights go smoothly.

And yes, I am getting antsy and the interview is still 42 days away! Do you have any suggestions as to what I should have Raad take with him to the interview. Would cell phone logs do any good? If so...wonder how many months worth of logs??? I just want to make sure he has everything he needs!

Hang in there Princess!!

amandagram~~ don't send everything everything, keep some chats and pics for in case they ask for MORE proof of something. This has happened and if he has a few pieces at home to then send in, it will be a less stressful time.

GOOD LUCK!!! His interview is coming soon!

I wanted to say this is a nice place of support for those of you waiting.

I too, have once been in your shoes and want to tell you I KNOW it is not easy.

You have to pray, you have to stay strong. There will come a time when it is your turn and you will

get an answer. Hang in there ladies and gents.

Zarq...I feel you totally and just when I thought we couldn't stand another day, the call came. We had AP for a CR1 visa for 5 1/2 months.

Lisa..so happy for you!! I know you are only down to hours now. 16 months is too long to be separated.

Look how patient you both have been. We'll miss you around here once he comes and the adjustment starts.

I know it is easier said than done, but this will all be a bad dream once your SO arrives.

Also there is nothing sweeter than being reunited but adjustment can also be a wild ride  !

(F) for those in despair and anguish...there is light

Thanks Sandrila, you are really a sweetheart.

It's so nice when someone is done with the waiting takes time to come in and offer encouragment ^_^

editted to add: I know you are always so open with your experiences, and if adjustment gets wild... I will be calling on you for sure! ;)

Amanda,

I like Jackie's idea to hold some proof back just in case. The CO didnt look at one piece of proof for us though, only pictures. So DO go overboard with those (especially ones with his family)....thats my advise

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Cool...I will go easy on the proof. We took close to 2000 pictures when I was there, so we will have plenty of those! :)

Amanda

Is there still room on waiting couch for me??. I dont think CSC likes me. Last touch was yesterday, and not induced by calling.

Lisa, 2 more days, hubby will be home, and that is wonderful!!!!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

The only thing we're using the computer for any more is talking to his family and looking for work for him. I rarely even check email any more. Which is why I'm saying howdy from work. :)

I said the same thing to Ahmed, Lisa! I never ever want to be that far away again, ever! He agreed.

Amanda - Throwing it out may be harder than it sounds, but I totally feel you!
