Mrs. jJ keep your head up (F) still thinking of you. {{{{jackie}}}}

Mr. moh .. i know you don't know me really but i keep checking on my old friends and the ones that were starting to stir as my husband and i were finishing.. i hope you dont mind me adding my 2 cents...

DEEP BREATHS!!!! every thing will be fine. Good luck and congratulations on the interview...

My prayers and my thoughts my heart are with you all my journey buddies love you guys..

Thank you soo much for helping me wish my nervousness. And no please ......we are all friends here because we share so much in common and we lean on one another. You 2 cents is always welcome. Again thank you :taking deeep breaths: God willing everything will be fine.

oh and please just call me Moh. :D

I have a question to all. If your house was about to get forclosed on, you car was repossesed, you wernt getting the hours at work, etc. but you had to pay for you SO to get here (visa, airplane ticket, etc.) would you pay the other?.............or pay for the visa and ticket for you SO?

:o:o

I am just wondering if one was in such a position losing all and having no money, how could they pay for the visa things and a ticket?? :unsure:

I mean that would be horrible. If it were me, I would kill myself to do all that I could but how could that be expected from the SO??

I guess the question is if you had to choose between paying the bills that are already behind or paying for the SO to get here. I would pay for the SO to get here. Screw the bills. :-P

Ok...so I make the call to DOS and finally something different...

There is a request to him ~ regarding his passport~ and all they would tell me is to have him contact the embassy. I think I'm gonna throw up or faint. I am noooo kinds of excited cuz it certainly wasn't 'ap is complete' ... and it wasn't 'send in the passport'. I'll call this afternoon to see what Travis says. :P I guess I will email the embassy too and see what they have to say.

OK I hope some of you are familiar with my problems of having called USCIS to put in a service request which was an exercise in futility. I got an email the next day saying I was not the petitioner. I called and found out they never changed my name or address on my I130 but had on the I129F. He put in the changes but then refused to resubmit my service request because he said we had to go by the I129F dates and not the I130. Well I got the email response about my address change, plus a touch on April 22. Yesterday, I noticed another touch on my I130. I assumed it was the name change (but why wouldn't they do it at the same time?), but I haven't gotten an email notification on the name change. I just checked today and it got touched again (the I130), but no touches on the I129F (since December). I don't know what to think. Why would they have to touch it 3 times just to change name and address right??? :wacko:

That is the part I hate the most, the touches, what truly do they mean? We need a USCIS play book of touches.

I sure hope the touches are positive for you resulting in a approval very soon. Im sorry I could not answer your question, but I understand the touches. Maybe why it was not done at same time, maybe the 2 petitons were not paired up yet until now since service requet was issued? its a thought.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Usually the first touch(if you ever even show them lol) is when they are pairing the two petitions together.

I dont know how many times they would need to "touch" a petition to change the adress though. :unsure:

But hey, at least touches mean the files arent leveling a desk somewhere. they actually have done something with it

Have you asked for a formal inquiry yet childress? I'd be asking my congressman for one :D

The first touches were back in December. Nothing since until now. I'm probably just grasping at straws looking for any kind of positive sign. Yes, I think I'll send that letter to my congressman.

Alhamdolilah!! you gotta look me up on facebook.. I got your email we have so much to talk about!! but for now gotta get ready for work :(

just thought i would pop in and see how everyone is doing... Kisses all and some huggs too :)

Hey girl, I've missed seeing you around. Hope all is doing well for you!!!

No facebook or any of that for me. I got my fill of myspace years ago and left it. Too much drama and problems that way. I've had a lot less stress by not using it anymore. We can still talk through email though :)

Have fun at work.

I hear ya on that S and S :whistle:

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Just got the e-mail...drum roll please.......................

WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW DATE FOR JUNE 15TH AT 8:00 AM IN AMMAN JORDAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it. I kept seeing so many people getting interviews and I was like where is mine. I was responding to say congrats to another person who got their interview scheduled today and our e-mail popped up. I screamed and scared my husband because I was chatting with him online. I can barely type I am still shaking!!!!

whew...that is a load off!!!

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

It's funny when I was waiting and felt such despair and no end in sight, we got our answer!

GOD IS GREAT!!!

Congrats on that and you know what it is like a chain affect. Like they just sit on everything for a while and then all sudden a bunch of us from the same consulate start to get their interviews and visas. Finally for you and thank god.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks so much sandrila & yes, God is good!!

Good Luck childress, I hope the congressman can shed some light :thumbs:

Wow Jackie, so what's the news, what did they say when he called? And the couches look beautiful and comfy!

And Moh, what's the news?

Best wishes Childress, I'd definitely go full force, as much as I was able. Call in the calvary!

And Paris, repetitive touches meant great things for me.... good luck!
