Amanda, Im sorry that you have to wait till June now..:( I was so hoping you would be posting about a may date any day now

So, the CO said he'd get the visa in two weeks.

For amanda and mariah, I know ours was k3 and you guys are both doing CR1, but this might give you an idea:

The, the Co didnt even look at our proof

He asked a few ?'s

what does she do for a living?

where did you meet?

When was she here, when did you get married?

where does she live?

who does she live with?

how old is George?(NOT my sons name) Y corrected him and answered

whats new with Lisa?

when Y told him that we had music in common and named some bands the guy was like: "oh, does L7 still preform?" :lol:

Where did you learn such good english?

He looked at pics and asked who all was at our wedding party..aasked to see more pics of Y's family

Then he said congrats and go pay the fee, you'll get the visa in two weeks.

Thats all i got so far, but if there is anything more i will hear about it later today. :)

That's so great Lisa!!! Congratulations. It's great to have some good news. :) Thanks for letting us know about what questions they asked. Did he have to wait long before the interview started? Too bad you can't get your visa the same day there. :( I hope he gets it sooner than 2 weeks. I'm sure that is a huge weight off your shoulders. It sucks that it had to be that long!

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

I think he waited like a hour and a half.

Ya, It would be nice if it was before two weeks! of course, me being me..I already signed up to be notified via email of the aramex package progress :P

I just checked flights and the royal J rates havent changed but i found a flight from chi to lou for 59 bucks! they were like 120 a few weeks ago. i was tempted to book, but I'll wait till the visa is in hand. :blush:

Dec 22 2008 Transferred to California Service Center

I-130 Approved : 2009-01-12

NVC Received : 2009-1-16

Officially in AVR : 2009-1-17 emailed scanned DS 3032

DS 3032 generated and accepted via email/ AOS I-864 generated : 2009-1-23

Received I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26

Pay I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Pay IV Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Send Completed I 864 and IV Package (overnight) : 2009-2-4 (had to wait for hubby's PC and original birth certificate to arrive)

Case Completed at NVC : 2009-2-11 !!!!

NVC Left : Received email March 3rd

Medical Completed : March 12, 2009

Interview Date : April 22, 2009. 8 am. VISA APPROVED!!!

Visa in Hand : April 27th, 2008!!! Arrival May 11th! POE JFK

Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 101 days from your NOA1 date. NVC completed in 26 days! Interview was 201 days from Noa 1.

Ya, Im going to wait until he has it in hand.

You can use the tracking # on the receipt they give the applicants. Aramex has a website and on the first page there is a tracking option. Once you put in the tracking#, there is an option "please notify me upon receipt" You can receive a text message or an email. :)

01/04/09: Went to senators office to speak to them about an inquiry into my case.

01/06.09: Senators office send letter of inquiry to UNCIS CSC.

02/18/09: Called USCIS asked for service request

02/21/09: Recieved letter from USCIS that im in security checks :( and to call beck in 6 nonths..... WOW

02/25/09: APPPRROOVVVVAAALLLL NOA2 Alhumduallah

03/05/09: NVC receives papers

03/06/09: NVC send papers to counsulate

03/12/09: Counsulate have papers

03/27/09: Packet 3

04/02/09: Doctors (everything is a-okay0

04/28/09: Interview

04/28/09: AP ( need nothing further will call when able to proceed

05/04/09: Counsulate call and tell her to come 05/06/09 to counsulate for appointment? Told to bring passport......Is this the day???

05/06/09: Second interview (everything went well) Counsulate keep passport

05/07/09: Call from counsulate to pick up visa tomorrow

05/08/09: VIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAA IN HAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

ALLLLLLLLHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMDDDDDDDDDDDDDUUUAAALLLAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!
