Well after pretty much an entire year of drama and craziness my husband and I are finally in our own place! I should totally be unpacking now, but I decided to set up shop in the bedroom really quick and steal someones wireless for the time being and let you all know we are now on our own! It feels great!

You do not know how much I miss such things. I have now been living with my inlaws for 7 months and nothing is worse than not being able to do certain things because other people are around. (ie. dance around in your underwear, be a mess, accidentally forget to take out the garbage, play your music as loud as you want, have private time with your significant other  )

Congrats Nevada! Enjoy your time with your husband and make sure to do all the things you haven't been able to do!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

So I am pretty much done "nesting" for the day. I went to target and spent way too much money on cleaning supplies and other little things. Lucky we had pretty much everything else we needed thanks to the bridal shower we had last december. Its so nice to have a place of your own. I never thought I'd see the day. This is my husband and I's first time living alone, when he was in Canada we had my mom, when I lived here we had his parents.

For some reason things just seem a lot more peaceful now. :)
