Id also like to add my heartfelt sympathy. I pray that God will bring you solace and peace. I know that no amount of kind thoughts and words will ever make life whole again for you, but I hope we are all helping to cushion your broken heart. Hearing about your plight makes me very humble and I count my blessings, no matter how irritated I may become with my DH.

~ Today is the fourth Sunday of my husband's death (F) On the 40th day (which I believe falls during Ramadan) the family will honor him by preparing a special dinner to share w/ friends and neighbors and read the Qur'an (L)

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

My heart & my prayers go out to you! I'm very sorry for your loss & can't possibly fathom what you are feeling or going through. But, please go to family & friends for condolances. You need them & us all right now!

We were married just over a month and I lost my best friend today. I do not even have the words right now. Please do not listen to any inaccurate reports coming from other sources ~ I am getting the information as it comes directly from his family. I will share more details as I see fit, but please allow me to speak for my husband. I do not want him disrespected any further :( I am in shock right now and I can't accept or believe the news that I received today !! He was 26 years old. God be with us and my husband (F)

This is such a heartbreaking story. I do not know what happened to him but I am so sorry for you. It must hurt so bad to lose a husband. :crying: This is really not sitting well on my mind. May Allah bless you and your family and his. Ameen

I am feeling so sad for you, I think for all of us who are currently away from our SO this is the worst thing that we could imagine - I remember how terrified I was on the roads in KTM and I know the conditions are similar in many MENA and S. Asian countries - even though Govi is fully sighted unlike me(blind in one eye) and used to dealing with the roads every day when we chat I always tell him to walk safely and for God to protect him - he is probably sick of hearing it by now but tough... :P

I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling, just want to let you know that you are in my thoughts today and may God/Allah give you strength. (F) (F) (F)
