i got 221g( Administrative Processing) . i called DOS they said my case in under name check.

. is it mean they rejected my case and sent back?

and when i can appply for hardship waver.

pls any one from india can tell

wt is this security name check and how much it can take for security name check. my naem is Rajesh singh. i dont think it is any bad name loll

It is under security checks. This can take anywhere from a few days to years. Good luck and wishing u a speedy AP

No you are not rejected and your name is not bad, just very common. At this time, you are not supposed to take any action. There is nothing you can do until the checks are done. So just be patient and pray to God that the checks are cleared soon. Do not worry so much, this is standard for everyone applying for a visa in our region.

hi laurarajesh I am still waiting for the security clearence its 8 weeks now no news contacted DOS no use its just like calling Usics

Hola....tengo visa K1....y me paso lo mismo que a ustedes.......mi caso fue devuelto...ahora estamos en espera de la tal famosa carta.......hemos llamado al DOS, pero han dicho que demora 90 dias, y mi entrevista fue el 15 de julio...y la estupida de la consul nos nego la visa.

He buscado mucho sobre esta seccion y me dicen lo mismo que lei...que puede demorar desde 6 meses hasta años
