I-864 Using immigrant as main income

Hello., i had my interview back in Aug 2006... and have been stuck pending name checks.. with the new law regarding name checks., my case is now being processed without pending name check.

I have to go in for an interview AGAIN., sep 2008... they are doing the re-interviews to refresh files and to make sure you are still married..

back in 2006., my wife was working full time,. and she would have been the sponsor., after i got my EAD i started working full time,. and she became a full time student ., she stoped working in dec 2006.

I am pretty sure they will want a NEW i864., with new tax returns and pay checks., which is fine,. i have earned more than enough on our last tax return and still do.,.. so i can qualify.,

does anyone have a guide., or any suggestions on how i should fill the I 864? when the immigrant is the primary source of income., (as i said my wife has NO income)

for example., part 4 asks for "info on the sponsor"... should that be me (the benef) or my wife (the petitioner)? same goes for Part 1.....? Logic tells me to list my wife as the sponsor., and all the fun stuff.,

Your wife signs everything, she's the sponsor even though it's your income. I have the same issue. My wife is also a student but I make enough to cover the poverty guidelines.

My wife and I will already be frustrated... Interview is on her 2nd day of her final semester,... Apt is at 7:20 she has class at 11, first week + no show = drop.

I have work that day... Just switched companies on July 22nd
