Petition I-130

A while back my uncle petitioned my mom and my siblings under the application form I130 under the 4th family preference. The priority date is May, 2 2001. Originally, our application was sent to the Nebraska Service Center. However, I think that now all I-130 petitions are sent to the California Service Center. Am I correct?

As you can see, my priority date is coming soon. What should I do? My lawyer told my uncle that it was going to take 12 years, but it has only been 7 years. What's the next step after I reach my priority date?

If USCIS reaches your priority date then that probably means they will start processing your application.
