We are on K3 route and we already have an interview date which will be on Aug. 27th.

I received DS3032 via snail mail from NVC yesterday. Now my questions are:

1. Is this form is necessary for K3 applicants or this is only for CR1/IR1 applicants?

2. If this is for CR1/IR1 applicants only then should we just ignore this letter?

thanks in advance :)

DS 3032 is for your CR/IR.

Doesn't hurt to send it in in case you change your mind and go with the CR/IR later.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Shouldn't as they are completely separate visas. You can just let the I-130 sit at NVC. I think it still will be usable for 1 year.

Sending the choice of agent isn't going to cause a problem but not because they are separate visas. They are separate "petitions". They aren't visas until they're visas. However, if you send in the DS3032, you'll soon be making decisions about paying non-refundable affidavit of support and visa fees for a visa you aren't pursuing. If you're sure you don't want to pursue the immigrant visa, you may simply ignore all correspondence from NVC regarding your I-130.

Just keep that form, you'll need it again when you change your status in the US. I still have to undergo that one so I'll update you with that. The NVC is also responsible for the change of status process. Your're entering the US as a Non-immigrant and your VIsa is only valid for 2 years, so before that expires, you'll have to change your status to immigrant.
