Well yes I am!!!! I've seen much worse driving there but its normal driving in the philippines accually. I would spend hours watching out the window of the condo watching 6 lanes of cars on a 4 lane road, with trikes and motorcyles squezzing into the gaps. It's all fun.

That was fast!

Got to love the fact my wife was preggy and even with a RFE @ NVC she was still here in under 5 months!

I drove around for about 3 months using my Phil. license before getting one from the Ohio BMV. It was in english, so the BMV people said it was fine. When I asked for how long I could drive with it, they said, generally a year! I didn't want to be driving a whole year without a US license though, so.. I got one after I got my GC.

WOW,, as soon as i get there i can drive.too.using my PI liscense.....thats good....but im going to miss my car here wahhh.....thanks for the info ....

January 9,2009-EAD approved(status card production ordered)

February 14,2009 - EAD card in the mailbox..THANKS GOD..finally...

March 5,2009 - INTERVIEW AOS ( 1:30PM)

April 13,2009-welcome letter in the mailbox....

April 17,2009-GC recieved..Thank u LORD...

you can drive for 90 days once u get here with your PI license, i too got a PI driving license and was driving in Manila but was somewhat got scared to drive when we get here, maybe because driving in PI is pretty much different compared driving in the US.. i had to practice around before i was able to get my texas DL.

You or fiance can check the AAP in Phils, it is located near Gilmore or St. Paul Quezon city, she can get her International Driver's license, she just need to present here LTO license and pics and also the fee..I'm not sure the rate now but when my bro got his, he paid around 1k pesos..atleast she can use that for a year ..

09-14-07- submitted I-129F

09-25-07- NOA1

10-25-07 -NOA2

11-01-07- My fiance got a letter from NVC that within 2 weeks Manila Consulate will send my Packet

11-20-07- Date of my Packet, actually the real one was earlier but it was sent somewhere, good thing my Fiance arrived to spent Thanksgiving day in Phils and we checked the status in Embassy.

11-23-07- Medical though the exact date was Nov. 29..

12-06-07- Interview

12-16-07- Visa in hand

01-16-98- Attended CFO

01-18-08- Arrived in USA , POE-Guam

03-16-08- Wedding

AOS

04-17-08- Submitted the AOS

04-24-08- NOA

05-13-08- Biometrics

05-27-08- Transferred to California

06-14-08- EAD card received

07-21-08- Date of AOS approval but got the letter July 24

No Interview, No RFE and Additional Vaccination( just used the SLEC medical docs)

07-22-08- Date of Permanent REsident CARd , got it July 29

07-31-08- apply for SSN

08-05-08-SSN delivery

01-12-09- First day of work(Thanks to Marielle and Mario)
