Happy Saturday ALL!!!

Ok, I am typically what is referred to here as a lurker....I surf, I read, I keep watch on those of you that have touched my heart.

If I feel knowledgeable, I will give some info on a subject, but I am not far on my journey so that does not happen often.

My husband and I are going crazy. This waiting game is no fun to play. We sent our I-130 and I-129F, and now the real waiting begins....

It was hard to be apart when we were gathering papers, finding answers, spending late night hours checking and re-checking our paperwork.

Now, with all the papers done and nothing to do but wait......

Not good, soooo not good.

I would love some input here....

What do you all do to pass this time without loosing your mind???

I have watched every movie I own (impressive collection) twice

I have learned to crochet

I have cleaned every closet in the house

I have spent countless hours online keeping up to date on Brad and Angelina story

Nothing is working here......

Good morning Linda

I know that you are waiting to hear good news . and i know how it feels

i believe that the good things come to those who wait .but my wonder is ....why does it take so long for those good things to arrive?!!!!!and why does the wait have to come with all these obstacles of hard and testing times?

All I have right now are my dreams of my love, so I will close now to dream of us

and wait for that precious tomorrow when I can wake up to my dream come true

It has been over a year since she was here last time .

and we might have to wait for another year to be together again.i wonder How I’m gonna make it

but i gotta stay strong for us.

I know that the waiting game sucks and no one wants to play it at all .

to beat the waiting Hmmmm what about learning Arabic ??? it might be interesting for ya .

say hi to Usama . you guys are in my prayers

Good luck and my best wishes for ya .have a nice blessed Sunday (F)

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Hey Linda.

I wish there was a set in stone answer on why things happen the way they....like us not being with the ones we love. We certainly did not WISH to be thousands of miles away from our SO. I think all of probably do the same things you do.... surf the net, watch movies over and over, hang out with friends and loved ones, log onto VJ and browse, drink lots of wine... Oh that's just me. I am now stalking Cairo Embassy waiting for Ahmed's passport. LOL We do whatever we have to do to keep busy, but as you know, it really doesn't work. You will go crazy and I know Usama is feeling it too. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I know this is probably the longest wait you have ever had to endure, but it DOES MAKE YOU STRONG!! I already know you are strong girl and you have friends that will help you through this. You are going to be fine.

LOVE IS UNIVERSAL!

I just want to say thank you for taking the time to reply. Your well-wishes helped more than you can know. You are one of the very few "regulars" that will take the time to talk to us newbies. It can be a little intimidating around here, so thank you again.

I am crying over the potential for another year without my husband, but two?!?!?! OMG

Now you have my well-wishes and a regular place in our prayers.

As for the Arabic, lol....been working on that and boy, do I stink LOL

I will keep my eye on you, and you can count me as a friend....

Thanks again,

Linda

I wish you the best of luck on your journey through this process. There is a roller coaster of emotions that you will go through. I can promise that. You'll have good days where you are full of hope and bad days where everything seems hopeless. I find it rare that I'm not thinking of my husband and how much I miss him. Mostly, I try to do things that can prepare for his arrival. I fixed up things in the house, I bought him a few clothes, I am trying to learn new recipes that I think he could enjoy. I spend a lot of time talking to him. Sometimes the stress becomes too much and we fight. That is natural so if it happens to you, just remember you are under a lot of stress and its going to come out sometimes between you and your SO. VJ has been a life saver for me since no one around me really understands what I'm going through. For that matter, they don't understand why I wanted to go through it. Here you will find friends who will support you and be there. Don't be afraid to talk to us and your always welcome to post in the MENA forum. We are a lively bunch!

I have an eBay business, this keeps me busy. Since I have been going to Nepal once a year I now mostly sell things which I buy there and Govi has now gotten into it - he had fun helping to choose things which he thought people would like to buy. It is very time-consuming photographing, measuring, listing everything and then shipping orders, so time goes faster. I still miss G like crazy and wish I'd get the #$%^ NOA-2 already....

Look your good situation: you are at California Center, you don`t need to wait a long time. My advice is be patient or look for some doctor for to help you hehehehe

S&S,

Thank you for the suggestions....i'm getting scared now lol

I spent the weekend making room in my closets, throwing out all the clutter, and making some minor repairs around the house that I have been putting off. All ready for my hubby, and only a few months to wait

I starting cooking again shortly after my return from Egypt. My teenage son and I have gotten into some very bad eating habbits over the last two years, and I am trying to stay away from the microwave at dinner time

I see my hubby online twice a day and we talk on the phone at least twice each day as well.

Fighting  You know it is from the stress when you are argueing about something silly that doesn't really matter to either of you.

It is a blessing to come on this site and find others that understand the process and can be sympathetic to your frustration (although like anywhere, there are people here too that still don't get it...)

Thank you for the suggestions, and I will be spending a lot more time here for sure.

C&E,

Actually, I started this process 1 year ago this month, we just now got to send in our applications. I married the love of my life 4 months ago, and 6 days after we were married I got on a plane to come home alone, and I won't see him again until he is in the US. Only God knows how long that will be.

Impatient already???? I think "already" is in the eye of the beholder.

Your advice is be patient?? Really?? That is your advice?? Funny, that is the same ####### I get from co-workers, family members, and strangers that hear my story for the first time. I am a little surprised to hear that from someone on this site.

I will tell you what....I will look for that doctor to help me and while I am at it, I will see if he can suggest someone for you to help you learn English

Thanks for your suggestions and have a nice day

Pattu Rani,

eBay sounds like an amazing way to pass this endless time....how exciting. I love to shop on eBay  little addiction of mine, but don't tell anyone lol

Would you mind sharing how you got started? Feel free to send that PM if you would feel more comfortable.

What kinds of things do you sell?

LOL, here to a speedy #$%^ NOA2 for all of us!!!
